Spider is just as guilty.Never mind his silence. He konws very well what is happening, he is at the heart of the problem and choose to remain quite, and abstane from voting in cabinet and having an opinion on key matters that afect the UWP and government.
We are not fools nor blind bats.
Who are you kidding, "A Teacher"...Spider does not launch attacks on Kenny and or the Opposition?
Are you from Mars or were you paid to write such rubbish and filth? They all do launch (negative, uncivilly) attacks on each other; they are all guilty, UWP, SLP and LPM...sad, but the truth.
I just cannot understand how some people can find so much time in scrutinizing every word coming out of Kenny, even on his political platform, who is in opposition. When there is so much nonsense coming out from the government, from everywhere, in the House of assembly, in the media and on their political platform. That so called teacher think we St Lucians are not taking notes. Tucker just said a grant he obtained from another country "will disappear if he place it in the consolidation fund. I heard so much from Doddy on his launching etc, etc. There are so many scandals after scandals from the government from day one up to now. Where is the Teacher to scrutinize that?
LPM does not launch attacks. I heard Prudent at a meeting Gros Islet and not for once did he mention Spider's name.
Some people trying to make LPM look like a perfect party which will govern without any flaws and they will take us in St Lucia to the promise land. Even though they cannot yet come up with at least 17 candidates in an election year. They have not done one launching. We all know the only role LPM will play in some of the seats is as a spoiler, i will not say which party they will hurt more, any sensible person will know. In some seats the LPM will not even make an impression. Prove me wrong!!!!!!!
My initial reaction was to dismiss this article as another anti Kenny article.
Then a couple of thoughts entered my head.
The first was who was it who thrust Spider into the arms of the UWPs?
My next thought was to look at not who Kenny attacks, but who he does not attack. Forinstance ,does Kenny ever attack Chasnet.
I then asked myself why, is it because of the business relationsip between the two families(Anthony&Chasnet legal firm)
I then wondered if there was any commonalities between the politicians Kenny regularly attacks, namely the PM,Fredricks(probably well desreved)
I found that both these individuals and found they were both from humble backgrounds,both dark in skin colour
Then I asked myself who has Kenny got more in common with Chasnet or the above named
Well Kenny an Chasnet are from similar priveleged backgrounds,both are light skinned in skin colourm
From the above I concluded that Kenny was more prone to attack people of dark skin.
Oh by the way those who say Kenny attacks Chasnet revisit any of Kennys attack on Chasnet are usually turned on King(Airlines)
I expect the chattering classes to dismiss my conclusion as racist,but I suggest you all look closely at my evidence.
Oh by the way Cabinet decisions are made under an ism called collective responsibility,so Spider is as responsible as the other ministers
May be its the ruling classes Kenny an Chasnet sticking together
Oh by the way Kenny knockers more mileage in attacking Kenny on his nonsense statement about the malaways, what nonsense he was unaware of the plight of the poor in the country, him the leader of the socilist party(SLP)
Where have you been Kenny or more important where are you going or more important where are you taking George Charles party.
Becareful Kenny you may be heading for another election defeat. We are watching you and questioning your actions and motives.
Well last comment,there are some merits to your comments. However I find it hard to believe that Kenny is racist. Do you remember when Pip made his black boys comment when Rick and others attacked him , Kenny remained silence on the issue.
Kenny's approach will not work in Gros Islet. Attacks on Spider like what Kenny is trying isn't going work Gros Islet. Everybody know that Spider have not lived to expectations. Everybody know that he has been found wanting in even more ways. But when it comes to going after Spider to push this Soufriere woman this isn't going to work. I think Therold stands a better chance of beating Spider than that lady.
I say give Kenny a break his party has a candidate contesting the seat against Spider therfore it is reasonable for him to criticise Spider.
What I would like to know is why he does not criticise Chasnet and Guy Joseph.
Because the statement was made in Gros Islet and the representative for Gros Isl;et is Spider. Chastanet and Guy Joseph will get their turn.
We must understand that Gros Islet as a voting district does not only include the Village alone. Many educated and affluent people have moved t live up North. If you call Ema a lame candidate, how will you call Spider? Because Ema is better in every sense of the word than Spider.
Emma is a lame candidte in the very sense of the word. She can't inspire, motivate, or attract the kind of support to win. It's no wonder that Kenny had to come in help her. Sadly, Kenny himself is not popular throughout Gros Islet. The same was with Julian Hunte. It was believed that every non indigenous person from Gros Islet would vote him. This was exactly the areas he got his arse kicked. Emma does not have a quater of Hunte's appeal. Plus a lot of these new people don't have much to say about the years she served at the NIS. It would be hard to see how she wins this election.
Dear author, you totally misconstrued what kenny said. I heard the statement made by the leader of the opposition, and I feel compelled to say that you are misleading the public.
If you consider Emma a lame candidate, and cannot inspire then how would you describe the UWP government, or Spider for that fact? Who has the UWP government and Spider inspired? What has they achieved from the 4 budgets they have presented to us? All you see around the country is a few cheap desperate projects built by the Taiwanese. What has the government done with the budgets they boasted about in the house? Have you gone to every house in Gros Islet to know who is popular and who is not? As a matter of fact we do not need people who seem to be popular, we need people who could work, achieve progress for us and can come up with and formulate policies to benefit the country. What good policies can Spider or the UWP government for that fact have put forward in the past 4 years? So you just want to see Spider and the UWP remain in government, wasting our time and money or you want to see a government who will develop the country and do what we elected them to do?
We must stay away form for that small minded statement such as indigenous people, because we use that word only when it suits us. St Lucia is only 238 sq. miles and people have been moving from place to place for as long as we could remember. We or most the UWP supporters should not be even be talking about people not from a political district wanting to represent the district. Because both their leader and deputy, Compton and Mallet was not even from St Lucia much less form a political district. As far as i know Frederick is not from Central Castries, Jeanine is not from Micoud North, Easy Cal is not from Babonneau, Kenny is not from VF South etc, and many others in the past. So you are happy about UWP winning the election, but you are not concerned about their PERFORMANCE, and what is the poor people BENEFITING from the UWP in office.
I agree with the person before that. Ms Hypolite can't win in Gros Islet. Have anyone taken the time to ask around. Poorjab the Ms. Hypolite. Dr. Anthony advise the woman to run in a place she can't win.
I know people with smiles on their faces waiting to see her go down in smoke. Poor jab.
Gros Isle tis a totally different pot of fish. I think you will be well served to learn that. Can you please direct us to the road map that is going to take this SLP candidate to victory? If you ask around most people are going to tell you they can't see it. Of course a lot can change between now and then.
I am not say Emma will win or loose because none of us know for certain. The people who talking they about they ask around, is pure nonsense because Gros Islet is a big voting district, and these people can never speak to everybody or the majority in the district, once i was employed to carry out a political questioner in a part of a voting district, i went about but i could never have spoken to everybody, and how could i prove what they told me was the truth. Another thing some people will pretend to support the establishment, just to protect their jobs but will vote otherwise. So we could never tell.
I do not see the logics in people smiling if the SLP loose because the UWP is in office and they are not doing anything beneficial for the poor people and the country as a whole. Can you name one substantial project coming out of the 4 UWP budgets? Emma will not go down in smoke, she is educated and experience, she could take care of herself by getting a job anywhere. It is the country and the poor people that will go down in smoke as it is already going under the UWP.
The only person who can help Emma is Prudent. If he can hurt Spider SLP is going all the way. On the other hand if he hurts Spider and draws enough sympathy votes from Emma because of his Gros Iselt roots this race could be thrown wide open. Emma can win if people are convinced that neither Spider or Prudent is right for Gros Islet.
I do not see anybody helping Emma but the non performance of the UWP in government. On the UWP record alone i cannot see how people will still vote UWP.
For the same reason that kenny got 6 seats after that kind of performance.
My 2 cents
don't be foolish into thinking that a lot of people won't still vote against SLP because in your view the they performed "badly". Kenny and people like Emma is not all that for a lot of St Lucians. When the bell rings none of what you think of the UWP or the way you attempt to glorify the SLP is going to matter. Every elections has its undertones.
Give me a few reasons why you all think UWP deserve another term? Yes SLP got 6 seats, but who lost the most? The country is at a stand still, every development started by the SLP is hard pressed to be completed. Nobody cannot say SLP did not develop the country. What is the UWP doing for the country to deserve somebody vote. Only diehards, blind UWP will continue voting UWP.
I do not need to give you reasons why the UWP deserves a 2nd term. None of that is relevant if SLP believes that this question is all they need to ask to win.
Winning this election will take much more than hoping that everyone is going to be at angry at the UWP as you are.
The SlP is in no way god's gift to St Lucia, and very soon your immature views about how you think elections are won will show.
There is nothing like a good game plan in winning an election, even if through your red eye you can't comprehend that wanting a party to fail on mere emotions isn't the same as having a plan.
Thank you very much you cannot give me some good reasons why UWP deserve another term. You know full well the SLP does not need any question to win the election, they will win because of the non performance of the UWP.
I am not angry at the UWP as a party per say. I am angry at their non performance, incompetence, discrimination, arrogance and corruption etc.
Nobody said SLP is God gifted, but they by far surpass the UWP in managing the country. Give me a few reasons or explain how i am immature in my reasoning?
What game plan you talking, no game plan will save the UWP this time. Yes i am proud to have red eyes because the yellow eyes are not dong anything positive in the country with our taxes. I am not hoping the UWP to fail, they have already failed. How can a PM who is not educated govern a country and with some of his ministers are not so bright.
It is all those silly questions that will hung you out to dry on a red pole. You seem to rely heavily on a cloudy fantacy of asking many questions than having the capacity to offer or formulate an appropriate reply or solution . Once again your flawed logic as to why the UWP is going to lose bears the resemblance of a drunken fool.
Hoping that all the things you deem is wrong about the UWP will oust them from power, tells me that you really don't have a plan.
I sincerely hope that the real planners within the SLP aren't thinking like you.

I do not need to have any plans, it is the government we are paying to come up with good plans and formulate proper policies to government the country. It is obvious that the UWP has no plans. They are not competent enough to formulate any plans. Prove me wrong!!!!!
Quit clowning around general terms when you do not have an appropriate response. My point to you is very clear. Stop the generalisation of how you think the UWP is going to lose. For once be a man and backup your emotional aurgument with substance and a plan!
You mean you want me to list all the scandals the have committed since they enter office? If i have to start now i will not finish tonight, you really believe the people have forgotten that. Because i am not mentioning them you say i am generalizing, but tell King to call election and the people will remind him of the scandals. You believe if UWP was as strong as you are saying they would not be in a hurry to call elections? They have not even launched all their candidates.

A party feeling that they are strong months before an election, and that the other is scared, is as good as a turtle believing that it can outpace a horse.
