Good. The US State Department should seek the extradition of Richard Frederick. This maggot should not be among people, but should be where he belongs - in JAIL.

What I dont understand is whats the point of fighting an election to promote your opponents. Does this mean there will be no changes at diplomatic missions. If I had wanted to be governed by UWPs I would have voted for them.
Are the ruling classes merely forming their little club and elections are just appeasement of the remainder of us.
Having visited the SLP website and seen the vitriolic attacks on Chasnet his waste of the Tourism budget, how could Kenny have asked to take up a position in that Ministry. And please be assured he did but Kenny did not anticipate the consternation that would cause to Dalston and Pierre, he could not chance their resignation.
In my view it is essential that we the people remain vigilant because there are those who wish to manipulate our democracy to their own ends.

I think it is important to see how well persons like LaCorbeniere will perform in his post as Min. of Home Affairs and National Security. Give the man some time, and if he is performing questionably then we can make our judgement of him.
I think the masses are looking critically at the two considerations by Kenny, that is, Fletcher and LaCorb so their work is definitely cut out for them.
I think the masses must also look critically at the performances of Dalson and Theophilus. Both have started on the wrong footing. Dalson's poor handling of the Castries City Council vs Ipa, the famous dishonest tenant, and Lorne's apparent uselessness in the Ministry of Tourism. Kenny will have to face much embarrassment before he will be forced to reassign these misfits.

As a former supporter of the uwp, I must admit that worse was done under the reign of the UWP administration where a few working class became the bourgeoise class overnight with very little concern for the masses who placed them in power.
I supported the SLP this past election, and overall I am quite pleased with how this administration is conducting the affairs of this country. I do, however, think that Dr. Anthony should ensure that Dr. Raymond and Dr.Long get positions that is equally fitting to their qualifications and experience.
We criticized Kenny but we can't deny that he is par excellence when it comes to the likes of Stephenson King, Richard Frederick, Bousquet, Ezechiel and others in the UWP.
Give the man (Kenny) a chance to lead and bring about the necessary healing to our hemorraged economy brought on by the last UWP administration.

No where and at no time has it been proven that a PhD is more valuable to his or her community than, let us say, the grave-digger, the local butcher, the local fisherman, the grass-cutter, or even the handy-man who performs odd jobs in the neighborhood.
A PhD's main goal is to secure himself a good paying job to maintain a certain lifestyle and to help recoup his huge college expense.
Graham and 1:23 PM let is not try to be hyprocrites by trying to down play this article. It is not so relavant who the writer is speaking about, anybody could be extradicted. Let us not pretend that people are not talking about extradiction and it is not a big topic in St Lucia these days. People could be wrong or right about it, so I see no harm in the writer explaining to us the facts about the extradiction treaty between us which is St Lucia and the USA. We all know there are other important things that could be written, but this topic is very important or revalant. Brovo to the writer.
I feel disheartened by the lack of knowledge by some persons where the PhD degree is concerned. For those who are so inclined to criticize the PhD and MD degrees, please be informed that those particular degrees are the ultimate terminal degrees that should refine an individual to provide the highest degree of quality service to others. Such degrees do not come easy, and those who hold such degrees have proven, that is, upon completion of such degrees that they are worthy of their specific cause or purpose to humanity etc.
To those who believe that the degree is a technical or policy-bent qualification is far from the know. The degrees especially the PhD allows SOME holders to be technical or policy-oriented but it does not make policymakers of every holder of the degree.
It would be unfortunate if persons who hold such degrees demonstrate otherwise.
Please let us embrace persons who hold such degrees because they deserve the recognition for their hard work, commitment and dedication to service and quality education.
We are to embrace not only the PhD's etc but we also need to embrace the Janitors who by the way are now labeled as Sanitory Engineers (and yes they do represent the PhD's in that particular field. We need to embrace the responsive and dedicated parent as well for they are also considered to be of PhD quality in that area as well.
Let's embrace everyone who show dedication and commitment to quality service in every sphere of life. BRAVO to you PhD's, MD's, EDd's, PsyD's,Doc., MS, MA, BA, BS etc.
While I wholeheartedly agree that we should applaud people with PhDs, Masters, etc for their achievement let us not venerate them. When you look at some people with PhDs it all seems to be more embroidery than substance. The real proof of a person is his/her ability to make a meaningful difference to others, the country etc.Let's not confuse mushrooms with toadstools; they look alike but are qualitatively different. Not many Phd's in the education field in St Lucia can equal the contribution of a DR Didacus Jules for example.
Well Blogger, give the other PhD's in education a chance and you may very well be dumbfounded. Dr. Didacus Jules has been privileged to be given a forum where he can be his best and provide quality service. Unfortunately, others are not so priviledged even with a PhD...it's really about who you know.
There is the other side of the coin as well...persons who have qualms or envy with a PhD person or acquaintance may label every other PhD's in a similar vein.
We are not being led by a PM who trashed PhD's or education anymore. We need to be forward thinkers always looking forward to the best in individuals or at least helping them to search for the best in themselves. Let's embrace all who see a need to educate themselves at all levels. BRAVO to the PHD's and especially our rich pool of female PhD's!!!

We need to sign a treaty with all the other Caribbean islands to create one bog United Caribbean and to tell the United States and Europe to take a serious hike. We should not honor any treaty if there is such a one. America has never been true except to spread death and destruction.
