Those in authority have not shown enough interest in preserving our history. Nkrumah is right about that cemetery on reduit beach. I've always wondered what happened to the remains of the bodies buried there. Those dedicated archeologists will always encountere road blocks. You know the saying "money talks and bulls**t talks. It will be interesting to see who will win on that one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357275718341686228.post-85421012274968945262009-06-03T09:16:55.870-07:002009-06-03T09:16:55.870-07:00i mean the pic looks rather trying to uplift our s...i mean the pic looks rather trying to uplift our society as to the past but did these doctors use "soil age" to check for whether the soil is is over 500 years old or did they use bone age.
not if its not an amerindian or could it be an african, indian or european. history ppl!!! Another good place to look is near the coast of micoud to vieux fort. dont u think dat there are alot of artifacts there? Or what about our THREE(3) tallest mountains that are pin-pointed directly under the star similarly to the THREE pyrmids made by the egyptians. I mave made my research as a Lucian, intelligent also or could it have been the Mayas or Incas that live further to the west like mecico or belize. i hope you know that these caribbean islands were joint to Estern America continenet and the African Continent and were seperated by this huge earthquake which then became Altanic and the caribbean sea.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357275718341686228.post-87252882745964112992009-06-02T15:00:33.206-07:002009-06-02T15:00:33.206-07:00I do agree that we have to address the history and...I do agree that we have to address the history and we have failed to do so sufficiently with any aspect of our history perhaps with the exception of our European history which adopted as if most of the population can take ownership of it without sacrificing their self-respect. Out recent political and other history is in a total mist except for works like Rick Wayne's and a few others.
on another note, I do not know how many are aware that the Bay Garden's Resort is build on a not so old cemetery site. my great grandfather was buried there I am told. but I remember seeing graves there when I was younger. The same for the former Barclay's bank building(former slaver traders bank on the remains of descendents of enslaved Africans) and presently the CSA credit Union building.
All this has to be put into context even as we address the history of our Amerindian ancestry.Nkrumahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604657099059400329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7357275718341686228.post-11088513347600031992009-06-02T03:04:14.168-07:002009-06-02T03:04:14.168-07:00Instead of worrying about these findings, why can'...Instead of worrying about these findings, why can't more emphasis be put in a Local Museum.
