  2. Beautifully written Earl, and I hope our politicians for once give to us what is ours.
I also believe that your idea of changing the name "Queen's Chain" is a wonderful one, and call it what they like, once that name is abolished to suit St. Lucia and not England, I believe all St. Lucians will be happy with it. Also, I would like to add that the 22 yards be increased, because it is plain to see all over the world, that the sea level is rising and encroaching more inland.

  4. We should call it the Queen's Chain as long as She is our Head of State.

  5. It's easy for Doddy to say that the "Queen's Chain" does not exist; however I dare him to say in public that the "Lucian's Chain" does not exist. Is not what it is........it is the name that identifies a different psychological premise.

    Good show Earl!

  6. When will these SLP stooges stop feeding us crap? How was Sandals able to build the twin towers on the Pigeon Point beach? Answer? Because the SLP government leased the beach to Rochamel/Frenwell? SLP cannot say it won't honour an agreement to lease the Queen's Chain to Jalousie Beach in the same way UWP could not undo the deal to give Rochamel/Frenwell nearly 50million US$ of taxpayers money.

  8. sell the Q.C. off while the selling is good. who needs that crappy sand beach anyway? St. Lucians should be working, making money not sitting at the beach, getting fatter ass's.

change the name to St. Lucia's noose.

  9. Call it Dodgey's Crap instead! Make him publish his passport. We might find reason to send another treason traitor like Compton and King back to St. Vincent.

  11. The usual 1970's crap that got us in this mess in the first place.
How on earth is changing the name going to change the nature of the beast that sells it.
This is the same kind of stupidity that goes on with African politicians fooling their minions with nationalistict racist majee like Hitler..
The problem is the politicians see the Queen's chain as a cash cow.
Put the sole responsibility of Queen's chain approval under a board of non-partisan St.Lucians i.e.a member of the Church,a member of the legal fraternity and the accounting fraternity and head it by the Governor General.
Sound decisions will be made on sound rational instead of personal greed.

  13. The Governor? What??? You see that ornament in Government House can think of anything other than reading speeches by Rex and thinking of which fancy hat to wear? De lady looks like a cardboard character cut off from Alice in Wonderland! Don't make me laugh, mon cher.

  14. Bloggers, Bloggers, PLEASE!!!! Why all these negative statements about racism, and the other CRAP? And you Blogger # 4, where in the world have you been hiding? You suggest that "we should call it the Queen's chain as long as she is our Head of State." You sound like one of Calixte George's colonial "house-slaves" right out of our forefathers' miserable decades of bandage on the sugar plantations. The Queen being our Head of State is now a tired anachronism that not even the Queen gives two hoots about!! The Queen of England and the royal family are TIRED of all that Head of State CRAP, yet you, a Lucian I suppose, would seem to be praying that we continue to have a "Head of State" abroad somewhere in Europe!!!! Give up on this slave mentality brother!! Brother Earl, let me congratulate you on yet another fine piece of writing and a fine idea. Let's simply call it "the People's Waterfront" so that whether sandy beach or rocky promontory, it remains the property of the People of St. Lucia and by extension, the State. Pel.

  16. The UWP has had this abominable policy of selling the patrimony as part of their modus operandi for years!

Anyone who has ever advocated a sale, or has any time attempted to sell any part of the Queen's Chain is UNELECTABLE. Ask Dove or D'Auvergne? He paid the price.

  18. Hey Anony number one,
Who says whitey does not want Africa.
Go quickly to (A)www.globalresearch.ca that's www.globalresearech.ca and read their article entitled:Africa: Invasion of the Landgrabbers.
(B)Also farmlandgrab.org has an article= Land grab for the world's farms.(C)www.stwr.org/food-security-agriculture/land-grabs-another-scramble-for-africa.html.This last article is entitled: Land Grabs another scramble for africa.
    So what's the solution?
A good beginning point is to continue studying our African religions the source of supernatural power whitey can not do anything about.
    enjoy Anony
