The OECS is united with it's people and economy and that is a very good thing. But Martinique is family, there is no other country in the world where Sainte-Lucie share such a deep bond (not even the UK) which still baffles me at times. I think down deep we know that our foundation is French and our Creole, our names, the names of our towns, villages and city, our foods, our blood-lineage (my great grandfather is from Martinique) our traditions etc. proves it. Vive La Martinique et Saint-Lucie.
