Industrial nations give a damn on emission targets. Important is the own export and business success. Only fulish little islands listen to this crap. Look at USA,EUROPE,ASIA,INDIA,CHINA thats the reallity! Money talks not dreams.
I'm afraid, only when we can make a direct association with -let's say- the March 11, 2011 tsunami and greenhouse gas emissions will countries such as Japan pay attention to small island voices like ours. Standing alone as Small Island States is ineffective and inefficient. The entire Caribbean should have a common voice especially on such issues!
Dat man is whistling in de wind, I tell you. He! He! He! Who is listening? Tell me? The US as it guzzles 25% of the world's energy resources? What about our good friend China? SIDS politicians are really cartoonish!
