  3. In your mind? Must be. Young Saint Lucians don't know anything about S.L.A.M. nor FORUM. Worse still, they, regarding either of those, don't care one fig!

  5. What struggle continues? It's just a war of words without meaning. Politicians will never cease to deceive in order to satisfy their selfish hidden agendas.

  6. Jessie James with a veiled communist threat to shoot anyone who crossed the floor, with HOodlum almost gave us a Maurice Bishop episode as an outcome of the goodies of "the struggle". Those who want to forget this will do this at their peril.

Who forgets the communist mobilization with the youth, both boys and girls, identifying with the image of Che Guevara, wearing their caps around Castries?

Who forgets the Rat Island tipping point and the armaments deal? Saint Lucia got saved by a mere whisker!

This character is totally irrelevant to Saint Lucia's development needs. It is time that this one shuts up! There absolutely nothing useful to offer.

This character is more than passé! Let the dead bury the dead!

  7. ...have always thought that, the late Mrs. Rock and George Mallet were the most consummate politicians in the history of St.Lucia. They had the right stuff: they were people's people!

  8. ....the still unanswered question from back then: "know that we have attained political independence, what is next?".... rest assured that the empty word 'struggle', will be a part of the attempt at the answer!

  9. The only struggle discernible here, is the author, in a holy war with the truth, is also engaged in a losing battle to become relevant.

In the era of WIBS the Grenadians seem to lead the literacy / communication skills of our Antilles-
Yet they faltered dearly with the Maurice Bishop fiasco-

I feel much safer with the take no B**LS**T bloggers that want Paradise to be synonymous with St.Lucia's quality of life..

Another article has me in a Beatles state of mind so here is to the "beware of wolves in sheep's clothing" bloggers

    (Revolution by The Beatles
You say you want a revolution
    Well you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
    Well you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know you can count me out in
Don't you know it's gonna be alright

You say you got a real solution
    Well you know
We don't all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
    Well you know
    We're doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be alright

You say you'll change the constitution
    Well you know
We all love to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
    Well you know
You better free your mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be alright

  11. If it still so shrouded in deep secrecy, what transpired at Rat Island cannot be all that good. Otherwise, with such deep insights into the future, you all would be crowing about how justified you were with your "I told you so" stories! Note the word "stories". You might just need some help here with your ESL handicap.

  12. The blogger who asserts that Mr.Rock % Mr. G. Mallet had "the right stuff"- certainly knows , understands and loves St Lucia.

The two SERVED the interests of "WE the PEOPLE"

May the DIVINE, please convert some of us to be brave enough to follow such exemplary good citizenship and political stewardship-

Call to Prayer need a response from the chorus- Must be a Gospel Choir or Greek theater literary motif. Anywho, here is a political poem/song for all the privileged from the cradle to masticate as they consider their "King William" right to lead the common masses.

"Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
Ooo, theyre red, white and blue.
And when the band plays hail to the chief,
Ooo, they point the cannon at you, yall!

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no senators son, Son.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one. No.

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, dont they help themselves, yall!
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale.

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no millionaires son. No, no.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one. No.

Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooo, they send you down to war, yall.
And when you ask them, how much should we give?
Ooo, they only answer more! More! More! Yall.

It aint me, it aint me, I aint no military son, Son.
It aint me, it aint me; I aint no fortunate one,
