TAiwan is an independent country and is definitely not part of China. Obviously the Mr. Husband is only speaking on the issue from a China-centric point of view and has completely nullified the truth.
Taiwan has its own constitutions, president, parliament, tax system, and even national anthem. Most importantly Taiwan is a DEMOCRATIC country with freedom of speech, media, press, and worship while China is a totalitarian communist country. Religious practioners and protestors of the government are being jailed or even killed for exercising their basic human rights. Just look at Falungong, the Tiannenmen Square Massacre, or the mysterious disappearance of several journalists who spoke against the government.
Please get the fact straight before making any such one-sidede comments.
