Make our beaches safe

I was swimming at Reduit Beach on my most recent visit last month. I acknowledge that I felt positively threatened by the uncontrolled use of jet skis in close proximity to dozens of swimmers.
Swimming that day was definitly a very risky affair. Children of tourists, some as young as 10, where put in charge of these powerful machines and let loose on Rodney Bay.
Very soon, a tragedy will occur if more controls are not put in place on the indiscrimiant use of these jet-skis. I for one will certainly choose my swimming spots with great care in the future.
That said, St. Lucia has much more to offer visitors than beaches. A warm and welcoming people, stunning scenery and a diverse culture...will all draw me back to one of my favourite places on the planet.
