it's a shame to see how we boost about how st.lucia is the gem of the antilles , helen of the west whiles we our citizen has to suffer and die when it comes to thier health and well being . it is high time the the minister of healt put his the country health need in prospective cause our citizen are tried of going to other country to do surgery or other medical problems they are experincing.it is time for a change , if there is no proper medical facilities there is no future or zeal to go on.
I am deeply touch by article I read about people in my island that are suffering with different illnesses and has nowhere to turn for help. I think the goverment and the people of St. Lucia need to reach out to other islands and even the US for help with medical care. I reside in New Jersey and it hurt my heart to know that people from St. Lucia go abroad for treament and has no one to hold their hands while they are suffering. We as an island should put pressure on all the politicians so that a change can be made when it comes to taking care of our people. One person cannot fix the problem, but one person can help start the spark to keep the fire going. I would definitely like to help start a group that will stand up for better medical care in St. Lucia.
