What? no comments "politicising" the fireman's injury? Maybe not yet. Reading through the "comments" page on the last Voice issue was truly shameful, dreadful even, to take such a grave disaster, and make it political.

It would have been heartening instead to read about contributions and/or assistance to this disaster, instead of creating a political ro-ro.

Apart from the very few positive comments posted - I say "SHAME" to the vast balance of "ro-ro mongers"!

Now ... we should pray and/or see what can be done for those:
> firemen who did a DAMN GOOD JOB at the fire scene
> nurses who also did a DAMN GOOD JOB - and will need counseling
> all those people who came forward to give their assistance, in such a short space of time.

FIRE does not choose it's victims.

My Prayers are with you Peterson Mathurin, " The Chief Fire Officer that never was". Once again you have proven yourself worthy of being my favorite Fire Officer.
Most of the progress being made in my personal and professional life I owe to you for the role you have played in molding me into the man I am today.
BLUE WATCH 4EVER
