the unimmaginative cartoonist should have put a dollar sign on chastanet's chest instead, because this award is a political award to cut Chastanet some slack for criticism for being a big spender. Get a grip Alexandra, you can draw yes but you are too shallow to attempt political commentary
I am so proud of Mr. Chastenet. The fact is Mr. Alexander did not grant the award, a none political and none St Lucian organisation did. Get a grip of yourself.
That's only the beginning. As the world economy is gradually coming out of recession, more and more visitors will favour St.Lucia as a destination. I was not very happy with him for many of his missteps when he started, but he was new to the job, but I think he has turned the corner. I think if he continues to do good, he will guarantee himself an elected place in the next government.
Everybody is saying he has done a good job, he is the best man for the job etc, but nobody is mentioning some of the good things he has done. Somebody told me his biggest accomplishment is traveling, he never on island. I could remember growing every time a minister go over seas, that was made public, and when the minister return he would make it public on the media, what he did on the trip and achieved. Now these ministers would snick out of the country and return as if it was their money paying for their, and personal private trip.
This is an award for one who have travelled a lot for the year. Check the name of the award, it is not for any work done. Chastanet have not done anything substantial in St lucia, all he does is traveling.
MY POINT IS, I was never talking about chastanet traveling, he could travel all the world at our expense, that will make us happy. All i was saying is, the AWARD is for his traveling, as it implies and it has nothing to do with his performance, as some people try to make us believe. There is nothing much Chastanet can boast about in terms or performance, prove me wrong. THAT IS MY POINT, what is your point?
We all know ministers job entails travel, but we have never seen government ministers travel so much with so little achievement. Sometimes we believe that their offices are based overseas.
lol....wow
ReplyDeleteTalk about exaggeration!!
ReplyDeleteLmao.....I know Chastnet's getting a good laugh out of this.
ReplyDeleteAfter all the useless pressure from the opposition, he deserve it. Time to move our country forward.
ReplyDeleteYou go guy!!!!!!
