VAT is gonna help the poor, help pay civil servants and social programs like infrastructure etc...The more you spend , the more the government gets for those programs, welcome to the Canadian system.
How will VAT help the poor in St Lucia when people are losing their jobs everyday, those that are working is working for a small salary, people could bearly shop because things are so expensive and now we have to think about paying VAT on the grocery bill. We cannot compare the Canadian system to what we have in St Lucia because you can easier get something to do in Canada than in St Lucia and things are much cheaper there.

We do not need answers from you, we need answers from the government. We want Guy Joseph to tell the nation how much the Babonneau road cost. We want Frederick to tell the nation how much the Marigot housing project cost. They are hiding the cost because they talk so much about cost over run, now it is their turn with a project. They are afraid people to find out about their cost over run. That is the answers we need, you could hold your answers.
Are we talking about VAT?
We must talk about VAT and also have our government to account to us. We must also ask them where is the representative for Dennery North Marcus Nicholas, he has missed 2 house meetings.
