6 months, one year just work twice as fast to meet the deadline. I would have said three months and let them argue for 6 months.

The discussion of the VAT system and implementation has been ongoing for many months now. The business community has had the opportunity to weigh in on the system as well as its implementation. It does not need an additional 6 months on top of the allotted 6 months, to prepare itself for a system it has already known about for at least a year. If businesses need more time, it is unfortunately their procrastination, and not want of information or at least awareness, that leads to this need
