Rain will most probably come next monday and tuesday for a couple of hours. The Ti Kaye resort a.o. has a desalination plant. It consumes a lot of electricity. Only 18-20% of the filtered seawater is of high quality like bottled water. The rest is waste and returned into the sea. At Praslin, Monrepos and Micoud are large reserves of mineral water. Just drilling (not very deep) and you could pump this water to the nearest treatment basin of Wasco in the south. Wasco building a large desalination plant. It's possible, but the price per gallon will be very, very high and not affordable for most people. Experts on large desalination plants are Americans and Spaniards.
