Quite right with that, but you have to remember that St.Lucian politics is STREET LEVEL and uninspiring,,, and in the WAR ROOM of politics,,,,FACTS TELL, BUT STORIES SELL.
You only have to look at the elected politicians and the composition of the selected.
No wonder our young people gone beserck Far to long the politians doing wrong and believing it wont come back Guess who is it affecting and you have a moran prime minister with a c and bringing fair helen to the dogs

By the way, a drum I will never stop beating, get your children to exercise. St Lucia has the world's highest rate of diabetes and hypertension. Diabetes and hypertension can KILL YOU!
We also have very high rates of childhood and teenage obesity. These are easily verifiable facts, people. Send your kids out to run, take them to the beach, to the pool, to the fields, go with them, send their big brother, cousin with them, let them play, get them active.
Let them learn a sport, let them have fun, let them be children! We cannot be "too healthy" as nation. We have more facilities than ever, and less real activity taking place than ever. Your child can be the next Levern Spencer or Darren Sammy, or Dominic Johnson or Nadine George.
Encourage the children in your life to dream, and dream big, let them be inspired, and push them to work towards realizing their dreams.
Some people just don't seem to be able to read. Where in there did the author say to vote SLP or UWP? If anything I sense that he or she is saying that it is time to dump those two lying bastards/
Dump them and put WHO? There is no perfect party in this world, as a matter of fact there is not one perfect man in this world, all men WILL make mistakes. We will vote for a new political which we do not know, when they start making mistakes, we will sing the same song. What we have to do in St Lucia now, is to vote for the better of the parties we know. We all know the UWP is a waste of time, the SLP is not perfect but they have shown us in 9 years, they have developed St Lucia by leaps and bonds. IF SLP was not voted out, St Lucia would have been one of the most developed country in the caribbean today. It was a mistake when we voted out the SLP. SLP is by far the better of the two parties.
Would you put the deliberate yes vote to grant a fellow cabinet member tax benefits to which he does qualify a 'mistake'?
Would you characterize the placement of funds received on the behalf of the government of St. Lucia by a minister, into private account BEFORE declaring it or depositing it into the Consolidated Fund a 'mistake'?
Wait there! There is word going around that soon after the next election, there will be an emergency sitting of the House with enabling legislation to freeze the assets of ALL the cabinet ministers of the UWP together with an injunction to seize the travel documents of those same persons.
If your rumor is read right by me, you want us to believe that the UWP will lost the general election. The word you spoke about, tell us where it is going around? I have never heard that on the media, that is radio, print, parliament or political platform etc. Where did that came from?
St Lucians - the electorate - love to be lied to!! If a politician told the truth, and/or, kept his word - he would be booted out!! It's a fact - sad but true.
If such a plan is about to be put in place do you think that you would hear this on the radio now? Anyway, some people might be able to go to Lybia and Morocco. They have not fallen to the revolutionaries yet.
Yes you are very right, because when SLP was in office, everything was in the open. All cost over run on major projects, Rochamel etc was made known to the public. They were voted out because of that. This present government has hidden the cost of the only road project they has under taken the Babonneau or Allan Bousquet Highway, to make themselves look good. So people will never know if there was cost over run. Most of the UWP parliamentarians also never told us how they spent the million dollars given by the Taiwanese. etc,etc..........
You are very correct!!I was speaking with a retired politician about a specific situation. I said to him "you know better than that,why not speak up?" He told me "man you want them to say I say?" Where I told him once you do not lie you should not worry!! I then told him that this present government is the worst I have seen when it comes to telling lies and the new AG takes the cake.If he were to tell me "Good Morning" I would run!!!!Allen well he was brought up in lies!! ang the frog look alike we have for a PM should get a Nobel Prize!! Poor St.Lucia!!

A party devoid of any roots firmly anchored in economics will always be second rate. Its leadership shows that this deficiency always puts it in a situation where the ex-PM Anthony, like Frederick's the puppet holding that title today, cannot see the forest for the trees. They don't teach about economic models in law school, perhaps big belly dancing.
