This article doesn't expose enough of the problems with this country, however it does highlight the crazy system and bias shown towards people who may not vote for your political prty. Why are people even shoing who they favou when there is so much discrimination against the opposition. Politicians are voted in by the people they are there because of the people and are servants of the people so please remember that when you vote, or are voted in. You polititians are not superstars on a gravy train but public servants, put there to serve the people.
Thank you for the feedback Anonymous. (Would be nice to have a name to refer to you by, even if it is not your real name.)The intent of the article was to look at the problems of the political system. I am not sure if you are saying that I did not deal with enough of the problems of partisan politics as the intension was not to expose 'the problems of the country' but rather party politics as one of the problems of the country. There is more to be said on the ills of partisan politics and I will look at some more of these in Tuesday's Voice. There I am not just going to expose the problem but will also forward a solution -Divergent Collectivism.
I thought your article was very informative and yes you were dealing with issues around the political system. I got carried away by mentioning other issues and that you could have dealt with them, I retract and apologise for that. My frustration spills over regarding other issues that I feel do not get dealt with on the whole. I thought your article was excellent so there was no intention on my part to criticise it. I am not in the position to use my real name but would love to have a conversation with you, if that would be acceptable I will contact you to discuss. I am currently off island.
