Isn't that so interesting? Richard just stood there, letting "Smoking Joe" insult the police officer??? Does that not tell you NUFF about that Richard fella? This is amazing, and is a CLEAR SIGN that the criminals are in government and in power in St. Lucia. What more do we need my people?? Tanto Tanto! Can you imagine a Labour Party government minister, EVER encouraging that sort of criminality in this country? Can you imagine a Minister like Ignatius Geanne for example, ever tolerating that from a supporter? It is PAST TIME to KICK these guys out onto the streets where they belong, and the ball must start rolling with such elements as Richard, Rufus, King, Mondesir, Mayers, Marcus, Estephane, etc., etc. Take a look at these names mentioned here, and tell me LUCIAN, what do you see!!! Donna.

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU...UWP, how could you let this man make a mockery of your party and the law such as this? How dare you?

Surely, these are the examples he is setting for his hooligans friends.

It has come to pass; when Kenny said it would be a sad day when "this man", makes me puke to say his name, enters local politics.

"This man" is encouraging criminal activities and elements in the country.

It is with tears in my eyes I read this article.

How could this happened? Why didn't Richard Frederick accepted his tickets, pay the fines and move on, thereby setting a good examples for others?

Why did he allowed his henceman/men to abused the police officer? Why, Richard Fredericks, why?

Is this the examples you, Richard Fredericks, are setting for other people to follow, especially your questionable friends and comerade?

Nasty and malicious person you are, Richard Fredericks!!

I bet the Star Newspaper WILL NOT report this unfortuate incident. The Star Newspaper, will, instead, continue on his path of character assasination of Kenny and condoning Richard Fredericks illegal actions.

Very unfortunate. To the police officer, I say, bring a change of assult against Frederick's goons, the Assistant Police Commissioner Frederick himself, and the police force in general.

An LPM/SLP coalition government is the answer to our current problems. We must restrain Labour's excesses and its notorious tendency and potential for huge financial mistakes. They have not changed the leadership.

We need with a coalition government very badly in St. Lucia today. Select the best from the candidates from each party in each constituency.

We go for too much party in St. Lucia. We need more quality people than party more than ever before. Give us a balance between the SLP and LPM.

A coalition of the best St. Lucians available including independent candidates is NOW the answer. It is just what the doctor ordered.

The UWP goons have more than outlasted their welcome. Down with UWP rogue government! Throw out the bums!

Every story has two sides. Could it be that the Labour Party is making a mountain out of a mould?

@above, a precedent has been set by richard fredericks, how many times has he been in trouble with the law?

richard fredericks is a lawyer, he should KNOW (i bet that was taught to him in law school/political science), that in politics, PERCEPTIONS ARE REGARDED AS TRUTH.

what two sides are you talking about. the man is associating himself with all kinds of unsavoury and questionable characters! two sides to what, in having his goons abuse a police officer?

What is ABSOLUTELY and PATENTLY CLEAR, to INTERPOL, THE FBI, and the CIA, is who deep within the bowels of law enforcement, is the responsible person protecting and connected to the interests of the international narcotics trade in St. Lucia.

The constituents sent in their representative who is now running the government. The goons protected by the corrupt law enforcement group is beating up police officers. Is torture Pinochet-style next?

The stage is set for civil war in this country.

The so-called PM is a puppet of the drug baron. What an ass!

The governor general who has reserve powers to prevent this societal implosion is good only for cutting ribbons and wearing fancy hats.

St. Lucia is teetering on the brink of more visible chaotic displays such as this beating of a law officer aided and abetted by a minister of government.

The rot is already set and deep.

What a boost for investor confidence. If the police cannot protect themselves, why am I still in this country?

Will some St. Lucians EVER take themselves seriously???? Can you imagine Anonymous # 9 below saying that maybe Labour is making a mountain out of a molehill? What does this matter have to do with the SLP??? What does a Police Officer, doing his work, and getting DISSED and INSULTED by one of Richard Frederick's goons, right under Frederick's nose, have to do with the Labour Party?? Gimme a BREAK man! This matter has nothing to do with YELLOW or RED. Clearly SWEET St. Lucia is going down Jamaica way. PWEND GARDE NOUS TOUTE PAS PWEND FEUR!!!!

St. Lucia how long must we suffer from bastards like King and Frederick. Please let's do the right thing and vote these bloody men out of politics, out of St.Lucia. Projects are being erected everywhere...man are we glad for we have suffered long enough. That money, by the way belongs to the St.Lucian people so please uwp rep. don't wait on our votes this coming elections just because you are giving a few $12,000. contract here and there.

Yes, I will take the money but I know that if I were to vote you in I would have to wait another 5 years before eating another good plate of food.

Sorry, we not FOOLS you are. PM King, please be reminded a man of substance, integrity, intelligence and commitment in the person of Dr. Raymond is ready to unseat you in Castries North at the next general elections.

This indicates the lack of priorities in the life of Lucians.

The energies being dispensed on a traffic violation indicates that there is no unemployment on the Island, education of the youth is complete, and the health, housing, transportation problems are all solved?

Any wonder you have real problems and stay intoxicated?
