Well done St Lucia! You deserve your win. Now let us start thinking big as we embark on our qualifying campaign for World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
If Qatar which is not that much bigger than St Lucia can host the World Cup in 2022 so can we qualify if we put the right things in place.St Lucia needs to take the bull by the horns and play football that will result in victories. We need a strong defence and an aggressive attack up front to score the goals.
I want to see St Lucia and Haiti going far in this WCQC. How about bringing in St Lucian players who play in the European leagues? We could do with with a bit of the European experience since the bulk of teams at the World Cup will be European.
Do not let anyone tell you otherwise St Lucia you can make it. I remember Haiti, in the 1974 World Cup. We were told we could NOT do it back then and yet we prevail against the odds. Believe in yourselves folks and you can go all the way. I was a teenager back in 74 when Haiti played in its first World Cup. I had my flag in Europe supporting the team.
Well done St Lucia: Now go on all the way and make us proud. You can do it. Yes you can!
