Despite the credentialed heavy-weights present, not much here heralded a significant departure from the past. In the final analysis, the topics do not reveal a real feel for the issues that matter in significantly moving the unemployment rate nor the decreasing the poverty rate in St. Lucia.
SLP, please don't waste your time. Kenny, please don't forget this was the same Vaughn Lewis you had blamed for keeping St Lucia behind. Let me remind you that he was the PM in 2006- The same guy you told us was an idiot!
If he was then, he still is --even if all he has done change his T-Shirt for a red one.
As a St Lucian I am not look towards the SLP to save us.
St. Lucia really needs new thinking. What #2 has said about the leadership of the economic group retreat is rather awkward. What it in fact says is that the SLP is bankrupt of ideas. It may be a better group compared to the UWP, but it is about to repeat the same mistakes of its previous term in office. How disappointing! What a pity when we will not learn from our mistakes!
It is sad that the senior party members did not control the discussions on the real transformative issues. It is like putting Ms Rambally back as Minister of Tourism.

SLP retreats from the key and modern day development issues. Most people in that party require refresher courses.
I THINK SLP NEEDS TO RETREAT THEMSELVES AS THEY MAY NEVER SEE THE REINS OF POWER ANY TIME SOON.
UWP intends to steal the election like everything they put their hands upon?
