How will St Lucia's day come wiv di inept civil service, corrupt customs, rampant criminality in the population and dump that is Castries?

Where is the motivation and energy to take care of business?

Where are the private investors to bring the $$$ to sort things out?

Investors fleeing. No new ones come. No education, no university. Get used to being poor St Lucia, this isn't Barbados!

If that is the case, why don't St.Lucians start to scale back on some of those outrageously expensive cars and extremely large homes and step up to the plate and become their own investors?
Financially able St.Lucians can, and should, pool their resources (in the form of partnerships and coporations) and start business: Hotels, Restaurants, Boutiques, Car-Washes, Insurance Companies, Construction Firms, etc., etc.
This way, we won't have to rely on foreign investors that much; and our domestic economy will always have life.

#4,,, You are right on the money. But the St.Lucia mindset is not in tune with such. It's to individually structure.That's the situation.

Luxury toys as we call it, noes not mean a thing. That's the easiest in the scheme of things.

Generating wealth and building business is what matters in order to sustain economic growth and stability.
