Good to see open communication with the residents. Hope this trend continues.

i like the fact that P.J.PIERE came as a concerned resident and not merely as someone running the meeting held by the ministry... perception is so advantagious for PIP.. anyway its even nicer that he plans on quarterly meetings with residents ... I ALWAYS SAID THAT SITTING GOVS SHOULD AT LEAST 3 TIMES A YR EXPRESS THEIR PLANS, CONCERNS FOR THEIR CONSTITENCIES BY USING MASS MEDIA SUCH AS THE TELEVISION.. i think the more ppl recognize that they do care the easier it gets them reelected ..THE LATE MR. LANSIQUOT WAS THE ONLY EXCEPTION WHO MANIFESTED SUCH POLITICAL STRATEGY TO DO SO..lets see if dr.KA.. will ..

It was most refreshing to see a government initiative being undertaken without the usual hype. The minister took a back seat and allowed the civil servants to to lead the process. This was most heartening that there was no Look what Iam doing for you all mentality from Pierre, a Minister carrying out his duty without the hype and fan fare. Congrats keep it up, after all its our taxes that pays for the road repairs.

At last a bit of class by a politician, a politician in sync with the thoughts of the local community, a politician consulting with the people . This a step in the right direction, I hope it is adopted by other ministries
May be Labour has learnt from their top down approach which alienated the electorate in their previous administration.
Well done Philip.Pierre

If this is consultative governing I am all for it. The previous Labour government carried out numerous good projects, but failed to take the people with them. This approach is a step in the right direction , long may it last.
PIP is a peoples person and this is reflected in this action more more please.
