STAN!! What kind of reporting is this ... with so many grammatical errors!! C'mon, I thought better of you!!
e.g. "That individual, identified as Kharli Alexander, who police say HAVE a criminal record, is said to have attacked the corrections officer with a sharp, metal object. ..."
STAN!! You could have done better than that!! This article was painful to read.
Instead of responding to the article, you choose to publicly embarrass the author for his writing. Maybe he isn't as educated as you, Armchair. Come on! Give it a break. His employer seems to be satisfy with his work
Recently, it has been a pattern; you and your other Armchair generals have been criticizing every article by every writer.
Come on! Lighten up.
Did you forget that writing is an art; and everyone has his own style?
That is right none of us speak and write perfect English it does not matter who we are or how educated we believe we are. We would write a thesis and diferent professors will red line it differently. It does not matter if we receive an A Grade but we are still not 100% perfect. So give Stan a break please. There are many books which are censored so much and yet they still end up being published with mistakes.
Pleas stop asking for a break on poorly written articles with fundamental mistakes. All journalist Have a resposibility to ensure they get their message written in simple plain English and standard grammar as they are informing and educating readers. We must stop accepting crap from verbal, audio and visual media as they are representing St. Lucia to the wider world. Criticism is meant to enable reflection, learning and improvement.
"Pleas stop asking for a break on poorly written articles...." --------------------------- Everyone practices the art somewhat differently; including you. Look how you spell the word "PLEASE". Where the heck is your 'E' ?
