what about Solange Lenihan who went to the European martial arts championships in March 2011 in Ireland and in July was in the world championship and got second place for womens black belt sparing, was a silver in a world championship not good enough to be nominated?
I remember that young girl, wow how strange she has not been nominated....................looks like the ministry only want awards to go to one set of people
I believe Martial artists are humble people so do sports for the love of it and do not require glory or have to get an award form the Ministry anyway,their glory is in what they do and they know how good they are, they do not require a plastic award to prove it, so that young girl Solange we all know you should get the sports award so that is enough, to us you have it.

well the same old same old, and congratulations to them,Sure it would be nice to see others get a foot in the door but well you know how it is? Such a lot of well deserving persons out there like the girl the first person mentioned and others I am sure.
