First of all, Barry could have used this positive review from you for his earlier performances. That probably could have helped bring exposure to him and his dance company. The excuse about artists not wanting to be criticized does not hold.
I have personally known Barry for many years and I hope that this is not his last dance. I believe that he has contributed much to the Arts and has much to contribute still. I also understand his frustration about the lack of support. We are all to be blamed for this lack of support though. We are quick to run to support foreign artists while we neglect our own.
I hope he is able to continue because as the saying goes, you never miss the water till the well runs dry. And as Robbie said, many years ago, St. Lucia is "a dead heroes society" and still remains that.
