i support the petro caribe initiative it has its pros and cons.. but more pros in my view..and who knows how much more assistance st lucia may be getting as a result of SLP gov closer ties with Venezuela than UWP which never pursued such ..
Chavez 4 all his innuendos he is a generous latin and caribbean leader who is willing to help small island states like st lucia with financial grants.. Hence one reason to like him .. as DR. K.A said in this tumultuos times countries have very few friends .. so lets bet we will see more help coming from Venezuela in the coming yrs..as a result of SLP gov alliances and diplomatic outreach..
Chavez only seeks to dominate, he wants to build a communist empire. He is a bully.
I'm all for PetroCaribe but not ALBA.
