Women do so much unpaid work (care for children, cook, clean, shopping ...)they generally have less money than men and usually can't buy the little comforts that make them happy. Never mind all the talk about being independent, women are always in need. In seeking a little support in whatever form, they encounter man, manicou, and monster. Anything that demands a woman to open her legs because he gave her a ride or some help she needed, is not a "man." That is a monster.
The authour writes her articles about relationships under the heading, "It's Complicated" but consistently provides superficial discussion of each topic.
Also consistent is her acceptance of women as chattel - she provides no new insight into the basis and possibility of 'meaningful' relationships, and comes off as a petty gossip in the vein of modern-day talk-show hosts.

... My advice to women is, before you ask a favour from any man, be sure to know the” terms for batter” ... the correct term is "barter" ...
Damn! This woman is so god damn immature! Makes you squirm that she may be Saint Lucian :)
Simplistic treatment of complicated issues. It would appear that these matters are beyond her ken.
Your sentiments fit the profile of a lesbian. Let it be. Where there is poverty, there is hunger.
