Money from the Taiwanese! Goody, goody !

Money from the EU! Damn but this is easy !

Money from VAT! Eh, Eh but dem Lucians stupid when I just come on TV and give them a "Kenny and Tony" just before Christmas and de pay de tax!

Borrow $150 million Year 1, borrow $150 million Year 2, borrow $200 million Year 3 till I borrow over $2 billion ! No probs - I just pass legislation and dem Lucians can pay it back when a gone !

But dis governance ting easy when you have a forked tongue!

Repeat my governance formula after me:
Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor!

Eh, Eh but dis ting easy !

St Lucian's ... take note!!!

All St Lucians should invest in a "Little Note Book" - record all these gifts of activities ... and revisit it a few months or years down the road - just to see if our political servants kept to the deals they signed.

I think I will!!

Good comment above. This has always been one of the deficiencies of the system of governance and the philosophical error of the governing liberal class of the Caribbean and St. Lucia.

We spend like madmen but no one accouts for the over $11 billion spent in the last 15 years in St. Lucia.

We had the wasteful and useless Ramsehoy (whatever) Report on rochamel and cost overruns and we could have saved that money IF ONLY THE AUDIT DEPARTMNT HAD DONE THEIR JOB !

That report only ending up after a rediculous 6 weeks ( other such reports take up to 2 to 6 years to get a proper job done) giving us just a chronological report of the transactions and did absolutely no real digging into the events and the players.

Kenny Anthony never appeared to answer any questions or Phillip Pierre or any member of Cabinet. A complete waste of what we heard was EC$3,000,000. It was almost as if it were planned by the mooching political class not to give the people any answers.

We are taken for suckers just as the political class in the USA now led by the golf playing snake oil salesman Obama.

Your sentiment is good but do not expect anything soon as St. Lucians have the reputation of being players just like their leader.

The real mantra should be:

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor. Cover it with fancy words and lots of confusing figures!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor. Cover it with fancy words and lots of confusing figures!

Borrow and tax like a madman, spend like a drunken sailor. Cover it with fancy words and lots of confusing figures!

Works every time for Kenny and Phillip!

This administration is sucking the lifeblood of poor St. Lucians to bring luxury to their rich network of boys and girls.

Concerned objective St.Lucian

I agree with this comment. But we are to be blamed. We allow them to full us big time. More hardship coming our way, more widespread nepotism and dictatorship in the country....

Countries that make up the EU are going through terrible times....they can't even fix their problems. But our leaders get involved with that same EU. Boy what a mess! We all know by now that our Caribbean leaders are bought and sold for a mere farthing, but by God are these idiots dumb! Why do they continue
to sign agreements with the EU? And by the way, history hss proven without doubt that Europeans never honor any agreements be it on paper or sealed with blood. Look out St Lucians brace yourselves...things are about to get harder!

We thank the EU for their gracious assistance? What is so gracious about being at risk of becoming subservient once again to these damned Europeans? So now we are forced into economic slavery? Can our Primeminsiter tell us the cost of all his borrowing? Oh yes, "we are forced," to borrow money for infrastructure! Why the bloody EU? Is Kenny Anthony laying the groundwork into forcing our people to be accepting of the coming ONE WORLD government? Why do our leaders keep playing on the devil's playground? It would be much safer for us as a people to revert to our old way of life, for it may very well mean our survival. But to sign deals with the EU? uh uh

In the slavery era it was kidnap, murder, rape. We were forced into physical slavery. Then they enslaved us mentally by givng us Religion. As if that is not enough, they are enslaving us financially. Will somebody take a good look and examine the pattern? Why are we getting so mixed up with the EU? Even European countries are suffering under their reign of terror. That is an organization of vampires, thieves, liars and murderers....the epitomy of pure evil! What is Kenny Anthony sacrificing us for this time? Because nothing comes without a price, what's the cost of all that borrowing? Gracious indeed is the EU! We're already done as a nation! Come on Kenny, tell us the truth!

Well now we better try to borrow some money to form our own Military. Will the EU lend us some money to do that? What we need is our own army to defend us against these same blood sucking vampires when they come to invade our land. Right now we have a meager Police Force with some cowards killing our own people saying they fighting crime. Who's going to fight the invaders? Are we ready? So while Kenny selling us out to our one time Slave masters for infrastucture, he ought to think of getting us an army. Borrow money for that, because the time will come when that same EU will want recompense for all the money we borrowing from it. And when they cannot get paid, they'll just take over St Lucia. Or will Kenny increase the VAT rate? Oh we might laugh and say these things won't happen, but it is very real. Such a dumb move....signing deals with the EU!

I do not go in for the "blood sucking vampire" language but that blogger has a point.

The EU in Brussels is now a self promoting , bloated, mooching entity sucking billions out of the battered European middle class and then handing it out to their client groups to get support. THey then present themselves as this compassionate entity when in fact the first thing they do with the money is give themselves fat salaries and lifetime pensions to the grave and all kind of perks.

When we see the EU 'giving' us money it is money they have printed just like the Americans or borrowed (just like the Americans)and this debt has to be paid back by the voters of Europe.

They are as broke as us compliments of the liberal so called progressive class that is in charge in Europe and that has killed their countries fiscally and socially in the past 40 years.

Same in America. The only way out is we wake up one day to the scam being played out by liberals like Hollande, Kenny, Obama, Portia and the rest.

They now own this destruction that is getting worst. The liberal agenda has killed the prosperity brought on by the Judeo Christian capitalist democracy now being raped by the liberal/socialist/ progressive class in charge of our societies.

Just read the article relating to Ubaldus Raymond's interview with the STAR Newspaper, on his resignation, and I tell you, if I had any bit of doubt, I confirmed that Kenny Anthony is bad news for St. Lucia.

I can't find the word to describe that jerk.
