Nothing wrong with having a 3rd party to hire. However all LAWS must be upheld. The 3rd party who hires does not regulate the working conditions its the Operator of the rides. A very good letter. We must always safe guard the rights of labour.
I'm agree with the above posting. For example we have security companys used in this system, also government doing same when contracting work out when building roads or hospitals.
Anyhow it must be assured the contractor is a registered business and have a track record of of upheld the financial part in payment to staff, taxes, NIS,uniforms for his workers.
A private company cleaning the airports, no problem. Or will the union now this cleaners should be employed by SLASPA ? If a 3rd party hire system works I would leave it like this.
A lot of larger companies contract out different aspects of their business in order to provide a service..That being said when done all Laws must be followed by the 3 rd Party and NIS and PAYE payments etc must be made. Working conditions are regulated by the Owner. It will be interesting to hear the other sides of this story.
