U call that model I call it courrupt crime is crime no matter who he should be reprimanded and suspended for aiding a criminal who had u at knife point ready to kill u for ur property its time we stop covering and shielding each other cause of friends or family if u do the crime u do the time plain and simple he should be ashamed of his badge

If you call a cop to investigate a ARMED ROBBERY CRIME you allow him to do his job without fear or favor. You are enabling that young person when you shield him from the consequences of his dangerous actions. You might not want to publish what that cop did because the decision to proscute is not yours to make it is a matter of LAW and ORDER. You should have allowed the courts to decide the course of action as far as the punishment for this crime is concerned. The cop exhibited poor judgement in acquiescing to your misguided request. If the assailants folks were are decent as you pointed out they would have lauded you for doing the right thing by their child by allowing the law to take it's course. Sir/Madam you have unwittingly sent a message to the assailant that it is okay to rob people at knife point of their belongings because your parents and family are pillars of the society there will be no consequences. Sorry officer you failed BIG TIME. And we wonder why crime is on the rise in Saint Lucia.

A model police officer!! Say, you are throwing a prank!

This officer has just given and enable this good for nothing piece of faeces/crap the green light to slash the next person's throat for their belongings.

Officer Ashton should be sent home for enabling a criminal to pursue his thieving ways. Why, this police officer took the law into "his own hands"...surely, there are or ought to be set rules and guidelines for incidence such as these. Were the rules and guidelines followed by Officer Ashton?

If this petty thief came from such good family, he would have been raised to respect people's property and work for his own. Period.

So come again, correct this time, with your nonsense.
