GOD BLESS our Police Officers; that is to say; those honest; decent and hard-working Officers who do their best to keep our country safe; so that investors could feel comfortable to come in and do business and our people could be at ease in their country.
We cannot afford to be like JAMAICA or TRINIDAD and TOBAGO.
We must do all we can to be a country and people who respect life and the LAW.
The gun yes, the Ganja no. Why not crack down on the drunk drivers and other alcohol related crime, alcohol is a far more dangerous drug and causes far more upset than a joint smoker would.
Well done the police for the seizure. A minor point of fact. If the weapon is an SLR as stated (picture is slightly obscured by the police office), the weapon originates from the Belgium company Fabrique Nationale (FN) which designed the Fusil Automatique Léger ("Light Automatic Rifle") or FN FAL in the early 1950s. The rifle is self-loading single shot though automatic variants were produced and it entered service with some NATO and Commonwealth nations from 1954. The British variant was know as the SLR L1AI and was in service from 1954 - 1994. The weapon could not therefore, as stated, have been used as far back as World War II - nor the Korean War. Lt Col (Retd) - British Army.

Three cheers for the COP and his men.
