If there was less bus driver on the road everyone make more money and there would be no reason for a fair hike.
Government should never allow a hike in the bus price.
If you can not make money get out of business.

The genie is out of the bottle. Those who elected this numerically challenged political actor and those who made him leader of their party for life will regret the day they were born even.

We reward incompetence. We adore incompetents. Well, we are paying the price. Inflation and contraction of business are being ratcheted up one mo' time! We always get the government that we deserve. Hooray to "Better days"!

Mr. T at August 14 at 1.40PM. we Lucians know exactly what we want.

What has been happening in this country is that. Fellars who are not accustomed to anything whilst they were growing up. I mean SCRUNTERS generally; come begging at our doors like dogs for a vote; calling themselves mal-lay-way; and claim they fighting for de mar-lay-way; and as soon as the worms taste the seat of government; they turn into bloody serpents.

But the good thing is; we can crush their heads, under our feet; like mud on the streets; in good time. Those friggin frogs.

Demonic vipers; if you will.

That's what's going on in this place, Deceptors and deceivers; fulling up their pockets with the treasury funds; and don't give one damn whether the people live or die.

But just wait1 only a matter of quick time!.

This "T" argues just like a typically backward US Red Neck in black skin. No friggin brains. Shut your stinking brainless trap door, you moron!

how can you move to a completely cashless system. go ahead and have your cards or whatever, but you should ALWAYS be allowed to enter a bus with cash. What if the machines are broken, you can't get near one?

How about they concentrate on getting the buses to work on time, and safely before introducing this crap.

This argument @ 12:45 AM is comprehensively IDIOTIC.

In Britain, they have a cashless system backed by a computerized card system

In New York the bus and underground subway system is cashless. Here again a computerized card system is in place.

The onus is on the service provider to keep or maintain the equipment to prevent breakdowns. Or else, once a person shows up with a valid computerized card, you have to give the service free of cost. Is that just too difficult to process for your country-bookie brain?

And yes. It calls for more sophisticated thinking.

It calls for Saint Lucians to put to pasture our so-many OVER-RATED, idiotic, doting, dotish, brain-fogged, greying, dinosaur and moronic politicians, that the elderly and older population have been unthinkingly and repeatedly voting for. Then pathetically they go on to worshipping these cardboard characters as infallible divinity.

We have seen some positive news on St Lucia lately. 1. The second fastest growing economy in the Caribbean ( St kitts 1st) .2 Opportunities in nursing in Trinidad. 3. Opportunities in the Cruise sector. Don't let a 50c bus fare dampen what is a better day for all.

You have to know the source of the data and the validity of the figures used before you start to crow about being number 2.

The other two points are hoping for the miracle of "Trickle-down economics". Catching at straws is better I guess, than catching your royals. Or, is it six of one and half-dozen of the other?
