I cannot agree with the writer of this article, whilst it is important not to become a victim it is a fact that if you have a pre existing medical condition the effect of this disease could be more painful and longer lasting than is the case of a healthy individual. Also some people have low pain thresholds which is another factor to this issue. I do agree that one shouldn't victimise yourself, and as soon as possible endeavour to build yourself up to your maximum health. The article was condemnatory which isn't helpful I am afraid.
