i ask one question sir? when stlucia was in need of you people for its development in the bad times where were you people? like kenny you left us to toil alone and now the grapes are ready for harvest you are here with the biggest basket. Sadly kenny and tony made it before you and almost emptied the field. so to you i say it doesnt happen this way. There is a saying whats sweet in the goat mouth is sour in the bambam. just think of that quote.

BLOGGER above, you are completely offbase. Kenny and Stephenson King, are the two sides of the same coin. The country will never do better with either Labour or UWP. We need at the very least to dilute either Party's power, if elected into Government by voting all of LPM's candidates. This is for the strategic health of the country's future. I do not know the LPM gentlemen personally, but one thing I know, the country needs to dilute the winning-power of both the LABOUR PARTY and The UNITED WORKERS PARTY for the wellbeing of the people of St. Lucia. Both of these parties, have treated St. Lucians like dumb asses, no respect, and in all the worst forms, one can imagine. And not in any way, HOW A GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND OF THE PEOPLE, ought to behave. These people are baseless, worthless rogues, not fit for the sewer. We must treat these wretches with the utter contempt they deserve.

Is it Prudent to have a third party in St Lucia in this day and age? I doubt it. Look at what happened back in the early 80’s when big-headed George Odlum, broke off from the Labour party to form his own. Quite a lot of his candidates lost their deposits.

St Lucia is not ready for a third party. The next election will be as usual between the Labour party and the conservative flambeaus.
We need to look at Britain as an example. look at what happened at Britain’s third party. They ended up forming a coalition with the Tories, while the Labour partry was relegated to the back benches in Westminster.

The coalition of the doomed was formed. One leader being right wing in the form of David Cameron and the other left namely Nick Clegg. I don’t recall in recent history of two extreme opposites forming a government. I can’t see this coalition lasting till the next British elections which is due in 2015.

The same cannot be said of St Lucia. We will not end up with a coalition. It will be either a Labour win or Flambeau.

I suggest these opportunist go back to their day jobs and leave the politics to the real politicians as they DO NOT stand a cat’s hell in chance of winning the upcoming elections. They will end up becoming the laughing stock of St Lucia, the butt of endless jokes.

I will end with a quote from Thomas Paine: He who is the author of a war lets loose the whole contagion of hell and opens a vein that bleeds a nation to death.

These folks have declared what looks like war on St Lucia. We do not want to go down the way of the late George Odlum. Certainly not!

It’s not prudent right now.

Big Up St Lucia as always.

Okay, Malcolm, saying that you're part Haitian is somewhat of a liability given that country's turbulent politics. Your diatribe is full of pessimism and feelings of disillusionment. The people say who will be the next government, not you. LPM is gaining momentum and it's about time we have some ethical politics in the country.

Malcolm is a bitter person.

Malcolm is out of touch like a foreign Haitian that he is.
Why doesn't he go and fix Haiti's problems? Is he hoping that St Lucia becomes like Haiti.

Clueless idiot!

Take a chance on you Therold? You must be MAD to think St. Lucians are that mad to do such a silly thing. It's not because King and Kenny are sides of the same coin that we must switch to a new currency that has no value whatsoever. C'mon man. Don't insult our intelligence.

LPM roars? qui roars?

Why some blind St Lucians do not like to hear, or hate to hear the truth? Instead of listening to the truth that Malcolm has to say, because he seem to be experience about St Lucian politics. The prefer to attack him about who he is, nobody chooses who they parents are. He was born to a Lucian and Haitian parent, so what. You all must go to Florida to see how much progress Haitians have made, they are Doctors, Dentists, lawyers, Teachers, Professors, Managers etc, etc. Some of them live in the most Porch places in Florida, they drive the best car etc, whiles we stay backwards in St Lucia and only talk about Haitians, Haitians.

THEODORE Prudent?! Wow, newsworthy enough to be quoted but by the wrong name. What gives?

Like them or hate them, LPM looks like they have weathered the early storms. I must admit it that they are becoming a household name in the country.

I was one of those who are first did not take them seriously. I have had a change of heart.

Please why not tried to work together for the betterment of all st lucian such extreme views and its not just saying you all will but how are you all the lpm going to help take st lucia from its doldrum how will the Lpm be able to make us more competitive as the other caribbean are on the rise and make us be more respectfull around the world this is what we as st lucians need to know and think before we can just listen to these bigots.

i think we st lucians should explore this party a little more, i am beginning to like it. Small biz is the engine of an economy and they are talking my laguage...

The LPM seems to be on the right track. I like hearing what they have to say and what they are saying.

We, as a nation, under this present administration is clueless, baseless, moral deficit. We have arrogant bastard/convicted criminal serving as government minister, who, sadly, thinks that is ministry is not good enough for him, therefore he has to be uplifted, as emperor, to luxuries befitting a King. What an elevation? From a jail cell to a throne!!

Drug barons is minister serving the interest of his subjects and hencemen.

Flaunting, disrepecting, even chaning the law for the benefit of a few unscrupulos ministers - Mondesir comes to mind.

Then we proceeds to have govenment minister undervaluing imported goods, victimization, being arrested and released, taking hiw own government to court.

The past administration fared no better - six on one and half dozen of the other.

As for Malcolm, I used to look forward to your blog - sadly, not any more. If you, Malcolm, could suggest to this present government that they should have Richard Frederick as Minister of Home Affairs, then surely, you have not resided in St Lucia long enough to know the rap sheet of this man. You are clueless. I suggest you blog logically on subjects you have the knowledge on to debate fairly and logically. Haing Richard Frederick as Home Affairs Minister is like having a fox to guard a hen-house!!

Malcolm boy you are one BIG jackass! How can you stay in England or wherever and dictate who is going to lead St. Lucia.

Look at the LPM's website. Look VERY closely at the proposals. These should have been in place LONG AGO, even during Compton's time before the last.

The SLP has promise. But Kenny is stuck on making legal history and not economic history. As a party they don't have a single clue how to turn around this economy. NOT ENOUGH SUBSTANTIVE ECONOMIC ISSUES IN THEIR PROGRAMME. I don't believe that they even have a real economist on their side.

That's the problem with representation in St. Lucia today. We elect real idiots to parliament and expect these people not to make idiotic decisions.

A large majority of our representation has been by people who have ABSOLUTELY no expertise in anything but wining a seat. Foreigner Compton, use to give St. Lucian mere broomsticks to vote for. Like slaves they obliged by voting for such, like the Bousquets.

Now the young are proud to have drug barons in Cabinet, Excons as PM and a moron as puppet PM. What RF says goes. That's who the PM of this country is.

Ask the PM why does RF have to have the last say on anything that marionette PM has to do?

Talk, Jukebois,Dave Samuels, and Jannine Compton are shamelessly asking St. Lucians to unite behind criminals! Political harlots all of them.

"LPM the little engine that could."

LPM is like a lamp shining in the darkness that has fallen over this once blessed country.

These wonderful young people have ideas and jobs they can do overseas. They have skills and experience working in big countries like Canada and the US. They can fix our problems rather than give people rum and chicken and music to make them forget.

Now the weather is not on the side of giving us political change. I wonder how the people are going to react with smiling puss having to fix the roads.

What a mess! Fredericks, Guy Mayers, Guy Joseph, and King. Now we have Tomas and God knows what.

Prudent showed last night on DBS that he is on the right track. I heard him call on the country to come to together as one rebuild the country. He said that all politics must take a back seat. You ask me? This is what a real leader is about.

Big up to Prudent and LPM.

Yes, anonymous, November 2, 2010 9:51 AM. WHERE IS THE LEADER OF ST LUCIA TO RE-ASSURE THE NATION IN THIS TIME OF GREAT CRISIS AND TRAGEDY?

LPM leaders took the initiative to called on every one to put partisan politics aside and come together to work for the betterment of SLU in this crisis. THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE HEARD FROM KING.

By the way, where is the Prime Minister? Last night I saw and heard him on TV; he was not reassuring at all; infact he was as soft as char-del-mol (soft candle).

LPM has always taken the high road on most issues.

If the LPM and Prudent can refrain from the mistakes and most of all the expedience of John Compton who appears to be his mentor, then the LPM will have a bright future. This group may even now take the lead with just those few candidates in the next government.

It is early still especially if people are looking at this new party a little differently today than yesterday. From what I hear, it has both depth and breadth of skill and talent, unlike the UWP.

Did not see that Best fella. Just what became of him?

Anonymous said...

These LPM fellas think filling these pages with their self-indulgent blogs will bring about the impossible. Well they better think again cause it ain't gonna happen. LPM is the little engine that can't...ever win an election in St. Lucia

Anonymous said...

LMP, just a bunch of fly by night upstarts, willing to promise anything and everything just to sway public opinion. they have no clue how to govern a posicle stand, yet alone an entire country. don't be fooled by promises they won't be able to keep. promises are cheap, it's the action that will cost us noney.

Anonymous said...

Kenny was able to manage admirably some $45 million into a deep hole. We got nothing for that. So you think that no other group of St. Lucians can do better. Or do you want just a repeat of King and the money suckers? They wanted to suck the treasury dry starting with concessions for Mondesir. Who was next?

Dey still dere. Perhaps we en hear about the new tiefing scheme yet?

Anonymous said...

Yes man. These political party hacks are really sounding like country-bookie Jukebois. Why on earth do they think that if more and more people are beginning to see right through the two existing parties they will see mere hollowness of the characters.

What is more, is that their country-bookie talk is what that has given us a drug baron in cabinet and a US ex-convict showing off his expertise as part of the tiefing Cabinet.

Now do these UWP/SLP country-bookie party hacks really think that by coming on this chat that this by itself will begin to change the minds of people who are part of a groundswell rising?

Anonymous said...

Party hack? country bookie? Aren't yall the same guys who practically wrote the party hack book for the UWP? Yall thought your party hack badges would land yall plush jobs at the UN. Because that ain't happen you'all take your marbles and form new party; and now because people see through yall selfish sour grapes motives, yall quick brand them hacks and country bookie. zot san honte!

Anonymous said...

I agree with the blogger above.

Thou shalt not take away my right to be a part hack as thou was a UWP party hack for years and year and years and thou saw nothing wroing with that.

Thou shalt not call me a country bookie as country bookies have good memories and can vote.

Anonymous said...

So there are country bookies in the UWP? It looks like there are two who are monitoring this chat. Country bookies love behaving like country bookies.

One does not have to be a supporter of the new LPM party to hate what the country bookies have turned St. Lucia into today. You just have to pine over what has been lost.

Anonymous said...

We country bookies will put enough ti croix in LPM backside come election time and send yall back where yall came from. San honte!

St. Lucians don't worry. De rest of the Caribbean know dat already. You have crooks in de cabinet. You have jailbirds in the de cabinet. You have idiots in de cabinet and you have a drug baron in de cabinet.

Let the DEA help you solve de crime and gang warfare by doing derre Manuel Noriega ting.
