Government should therefore try to increase the level of education afforded to the youth. Focus on discipline should be established at schools, and the larger society as a whole. You'd be surprised what one can get away with in St. lucia. Government should also place a stronger focus on ethics even if it means disciplining parliamentarians, civil servants, including the police. Drugs and guns are also a leading cause of the plague which has decended on our society. Authorities should move swiftly to prevent the use of drugs in the first place and to confiscate all guns. Higher standards should be set for police recruitment, example limiting admission to the force to A-level and Mourntech grads only.
