Earl, it is human nature to Feel and Experience before, or, so as to learn a vital lesson. it, like the saying "if you can't hear then you will feel" Unless something very tragic happen to an individual he/she will never seek to change or make necessary, maybe that is why mother nature is making us feel,(all over)mind you... it will get worse. if we can't hear then we must feel.

Mr. Bousquet, You ask an extremely critical question when you ask "So, what's causing Mama Nature to turn on us like that?" You came close when you mentioned a possible US military operation gone wrong. Unfortunately, sir, the answer is much more sinister than that. The answer is...a US military operation gone RIGHT! It is no secret, sir, that the technology exists today to "weaponize" the weather and climate, to be able to create earthquakes, drought, hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. One need only do 5 minutes research on the Internet to verify this. Without fail, any investigation of this subject will lead the researcher to H.A.A.R.P., which is the vehicle through which the US military has been tampering with nature and conducting ghastly experiments for nearly two decades now. HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is located in the state of Alaska, and was originally founded by the US Air Force and Navy. Its stated purpose is to study "the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communication and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes." However, there is much information to prove that they go way beyond that mission, that they indeed have used the creation of earthquakes and inducement of droughts as political weapons to destroy and destabilize specific areas of the world. In the case of Haiti, it was recently discovered that they have more oil reserves than Venezuela. After the earthquake, how convenient it was for the US to immediately bring in 30,000 troops and commence what is effectively a military occupation in which they have complete control of the country and its resources. As far as drought, there is ample evidence that HAARP has used "chemtrails" and other techniques all over the world in order to see to what extent they can affect rainfall, destroy ecosystems, and destabilize economies. While there is no direct evidence linking HAARP to the drought we are experiencing now, we must look at the broader picture beyond St.Lucia. The drought extends beyond the Eastern Caribbean and is also having a devastating effect on South America, and, in particular, Venezuela. Without delving too deep into politics, suffice it to say that the United States and Israel are determined to overthrow Chavez in Venezuela. Their intelligence services have penetrated deep into Venezuelan society, and they finance opposition groups and try to stir up trouble. Venezuela recently suffered earthquakes of 5.8 and 6.4 magnitudes. Fortunately, no one was killed, though there was lots of shaking and shattered nerves. And, here is a most interesting fact to consider. Between the years 1900 and 2000, there was never more than 6 earthquakes between the magnitude of 6.0 and 8.0 in any given year. Yet, between the years 2002 and 2008, there was suddenly an AVERAGE of 35 earthquakes a year with magnitudes between 6.0 and 8.0. That is no accident. That is the dastardly work of man. And so is the drought we are facing. There is nothing natural about these dry conditions. Clouds look fake and rain clouds drop no rain. The whole balance of nature has been thrown off by man's quest for power. "Climate change" might be real, but if it is, it is man that has lost control of his reason, not nature. And don't be surprised if we don't even get rain come June. It's time to think very seriously about a desalination plant. Thank you for your time, sir. Michael

America's greedy search for oil?

We have over the years accumulated a lot of negative Karma through our every thought, word and deed so it has to be liquidated somehow.
We are like fleas riding a giant living breathing creature.

We must change our ways, otherwise that creature will shake us off.

I have to agree with Michael because I've been checking satellite imagery for weeks now and the driest area (purple area) is always over Venezuela. Their electricity comes from hydro/water so what better way to get his government...btw I despise Chavez with a passion cuz I think that he belongs in a mental institution.

Check the imagery:

I am not living in your country. I live in the USA. I only read your paper because the government has a secret program to read all your papers, then find the people with conspiracy theories (Michael) and thats when our super double extra secret agents go to work to encourage complete support to confuse him and those who think like him. I would tell you more but as you've already read it's super double extra secret.

why didn't haitians use obeah against the earthquakes and what everybody here calls evil americans?

Hey Proud American, you should try to make everyone proud of America because by saying that you are proud, you are actually implying that there are many, many non-proud Americans.
Perhaps their guns are smaller than yours.

I would highly recommend going to YouTube, searching for "HAARP", and watching some of these videos as to what's really going on with the weather.

Climate change? Yes. It happened many times during the history of our planet. Main causes are the explosions on the sun and the tilting more or less degrees of our planet.
You come more or less closer to the sun. Change in temperature of the oceans.Pollution and Co2 only contribute for 1% to the climate change. In the Micoud, Monrepos and Praslin area is plenty mineral water. Just not too deep drilling. St. Lucia has proper building codes, but some contractors and homeowners do not comply with the DCA regulations. Anyway as to the drought, relieve might come early april. In West Africa there are presently thunderstorm and quite some rain. These systems come every year towards the Caribbean. Our Caribbean Ocean is now warmer than normal. Consequently we will have more hurricanes this season.I did not wash my car for 3 months.

I am since 7 years a permanent Dutch resident of St.Lucia.I also do not like the power policy of the
USA.
