I don't know how many of you'll know that Bevan Springer ( not a St Lucian) is a hired gun for the UWP?
He was hired three years ago to make the UWP government look good. Up to now we don't know how much the government of St Lucia is paying to Mr. Springer to promote them.
^^^^ what does that have to do with airlift?
It means that the government of St Lucia is spending our money and hiding the truth about the people they deal with.
Springer is a media ocnsultant. He does not work for free.
While we may consider Bevan Springer (a Bajan) as a reporter based in the New York area, he is closely associated with Senator Chastanet. There is no secret that he is probably one of the Senator's reliable friends and he has been adamant in prompting him from the days of Air Jamaica. So don't be surprised of any article that Mr Springer writes to boost Mr Chastanet credibility in the field of Tourism.
There is nothing wrong about the article and the fact that Jet Blue plans to increase the flights to St. Lucia. Jet Blue acts on the results of its past performance and the business climate not on anything Allen Chastanet did in the cause and effect.
Jet Blue is very cheap, so it is not strange that they can increase their flights because they are getting more business.

I hear that even the St Lucia consulate in New Yokr does hire Bevan to promote King and other government ministers when they are over there.
