Nothing will ever be achieved as long as criminals relatives and friends are in the poilice force.

The process to control or curtail criminal activity must be viewed as a long-term effort involving the channels of administration by the Minister responsible and in a tactical capacity by the country’s security force. The current wave of criminal activity never developed overnight and certainly not expected to be resolved in a short term.
Contrary to what some pundits believe, the previous administration had a better approach to crime than the current administration. You simply cannot go to war, unless you are well equipped with a tactical plan for combat and an appropriate place to house POWs. In addition, an efficient process to evaluate (possibly rehabilitate) the enemy.
In retrospect, there was a public awareness that the SLP government had taken measures to combat crime. New equipment (vehicles) and new monitoring & communicating devices were introduced in ’98; new and upgraded police stations were built; security (street) lighting was enhanced throughout the country; state of the art correctional facility was built; potential police officers were scrutinized; etc., etc., It was a plan in progress and one that this present government should have embraced and enhanced.

The coppers know who those slimes are but they have to go by the book, I think it is time to amend some outdated laws. The witness protection program is also a useful tool. I say burn down the bloody ghettos and exterminate those roaches.
I recommend RAID...
