Our young people must be taught to respect the gains made by their fore-parents who struggled to achieve adult suffrage.

Unemployment is high in the United States for several reasons; but one of the principal reasons is the fact that companies are not selling as many goods and services as they once did.

And companies are not selling as many goods and services as they once did because most Americans simply don't have the money to spend.

And most Americans don't have the money to spend because they can no longer borrow against the ever increasing value (or equity) of their homes since the recession that caused the collapse of the housing market.

So as you can see; it was the ever increasing equity of the typical American home that made him the world primary consumer; and now that is gone.

America, therefore, can never regain her pre-recession status without a viable housing market; and right now, that is dead.

Let the business of Saint Lucians be discussed by Saint Lucians Edward Harris. Guyana needs you now more than ever. Return to your country and leave us the hell alone.
