Antoine, you want to put to the test, everything the Minister and the CEO of WASCO say about the future of the company. But what evidence can you provide to support your claim that a PPP "is a Pandora's box waiting to unleash pain upon us?" You have yet to offer one concrete recommendation to rid WASCO of its financial woes

@ 2:16PM, I agree. I am yet to understand the objections to a PPP for WASCO. This model is not new, and moreover it has worked well in several quasi-governmental entities. like the NIC, Bank of Saint Lucia, St. Lucia Marine Terminals, and in LUCELEC. Presumably Antoine does not put his money in a bank. It's high time WASCO is put on a firm financial footing. Personally I have no objections whatsoever to a PPP for WASCO.

its understandable that wasco needs some type of financial assistance and also a plan to move it into a profitable entity. this so called "PPP"(note PPP in finance is PURCHASING PRICE PARITY)would need investors. what kind of return can wasco offer to an investor being that they are somewhat insolvent.
