Neither UWP OR SLP have ever ever done anything for the local transport system we have in stlucia.. the private minibus operators dont pay taxes well most dont & they always want more tax payers money to improve their situations..
IF ever a couple proper bus terminals are built.Those minibus drivers i am certain will not pay a cent towards that infastructure, the gov will not see to it that minibuses pay towards this ventures... WE DONT NEED A TARMACK FOR MINIBUSES WE NEED A PROPER BUS SYSTEM & TERMINAL INTRODUCE BIGGER BUSES ESP 4 THE GROS ISLET ROUTE & V FORT.. THEN WE CAN INVITE ELDERLY STLucians & TOURIST THAT ITS COMFORTABLE TO UTILISE OUR BUS SYSTEM
It's about time they did something with that place. While it is not sufficient, hopefully it is a start to something much better.
LOL. I used to be so concerned but now I just find these stories amusing. I agree with the first and second posters. We need a proper bus terminal not a tarmac for minibuses.
Good more votes for Grandma Emma.Enrougeeeee happy/ bitter days ahead. Next we need the parking meters toll booths lets get moving.
