Stephenson King's only usefulness was under Sir John Compton when all he had to do was behave himself and hold down a Ministry.
Whatever he has done after that has been the equivalent of a callow youth operating way beyond his capabilities.
Whenever he has to operate with sole responsibility for anything he has only hurt St. Lucia and St. Lucians. Mismanagement, ineptitude and incompetence are his watchwords.
Unfortunately following the death of Sir John the UWP (in spite of the incompetence of Kenny Anthony and the SLP)has simply gotten worst and worst as a political party.
Yes King is a wayward incompetent whose only capacity is for holding onto power.
Unfortunately after 7 months in power we have seen that "Kenny and Tony" are still as inept as ever.
This might as well have been a simple continuation of 1997-2006 with crazy borrowing and drunken spending.
Seven months on and the SLP Administration has nothing to offer in the way of job creation, budgetary control or a more efficient civil service.
It is business as usual with $250 million borrowed, more expensive political appointments and no vision to move forward.
Kenny and Tony fill the airwaves with CARICOM and OECS rantings of no value to St. Lucia or pronouncements that should be taken care of by Ministers. Why is not the Minister of Health ( whoever that is ?) not the one to comment on the ambulance shortage ?
Where are the jobs for the youth ?
Where is the answer to the promise to assist the floundering middle class ?
Where is the legislation or moves to make the tourism industry more relevant to St. Lucians?
Where is the attempt to get St. Lucians to understand the value of productivity, or decency or a good work ethic or keeping a family strong?
Poor Helen cursed either by its own way of thinking or the incapacity of its leaders!
