Same Sex Attraction: A Catholic Perspective

Mr. Priest, so why are there so many priests, who supposedly have male sexual organs preying on very young boys, who supposedly have the same sex organs, but are using the back door entrance?

Homo-sexuality happens in nature. We are made to believe that the Christian god created this world. Therefore, who created homo-sexuality in nature? The devil?

What? St. Augustine has not given a very convincing answer to this as yet? Do you wish to chide him for wasting time on how many angels can sit at the end of a pin instead of answering a question like the one posed above?

You are in St. Lucia. Don't forget. So why are you messing with Obama in the US.

Clean up your house first. Clear out the pedophiles in the Catholic Church in St. Lucia before pointing to your idea of sin.

Why doesn't the Christian god kill the homosexual animals he created?

What a hilarious article.
#1. You mention lots of scientific research to back up your arguments but fail to name them - let's have your references.

#2. You seem to write a fair bit on homosexuality. Why? Seems to me that there are lots of greater 'ills' out there that you and the church can advocate on as well. but no. your voice can only be heard on gays.

So, education on sex as recreation can lead to homosexuality? What about my husband and myself (a hetero couple) who don't want kids. Will knowing that we can have recreational sex make us gay or want to experiment with it? God forbid!

#3. You cite the CDF (one would wonder what that is - yes i know, the congregation for doctrine etc)..and Courage/Exodus - but these are all Catholic orgs so one would expect them to be biased anyway. But associating them with authorities on scientific research? Yeah right.

#4. My biggest issue with this: saying that it's homosexuals' fault for the perversion in the R.C church. So some of the victims were post pubescent; some were not - and some were female! But yeah - its those evil homosexuals, right. If you wanted to relate it to liking of post-pubescent boys, why not say the "scandal is 'ephebophile' in nature?" Why do u say homosexual? Deflecting much?

Lastly, you focus heavily on what St. Paul says... What about what Jesus said and preached (or for that matter, didn't preach). Wouldn't He be the authority on this (L.O.V.E). Oh and I find it funny that you use Romans 1:32. So I'm guessing you support it in it's context - which means you support its stance that they deserve to die then? Sorry but this article was a bit BS for me. Come again....

This is by far the best analysis I've seen in years on the subject--very objective, in spite coming from the religious elite.
There are still some issues that are not talked about, such as those who feel trapped in the body of the oposite sex and sometimes resort to sex changes.
The scientific community needs to look at the problem in greater depth as well. Can someone tell me in what year the first homosexual evolved? or was created?

The bible is silent on the incest, beastiality, and homosexuality that flowed from Adam and Eve.

Cain killed Abel. Who begat whom afterwards?

St Lucia - the home of bigots who think that paedophilia = homosexuality. It would be funny if not so sad that such ignorant views exist.
What is amazing is the same bunch of people think women are not fit to be priests.
