The LPM is firmly of the opinion that Dr Anthony and his government is in a rush to establish VAT during its first year in government, simply for political expedience. It is thinking in terms of the long-term political interest of the St Lucia Labour Party (SLP), and not in terms of what is economically viable for the country at this time.
Saint Lucians getting ridiculous now whoy. You all have had the most consultations, the most education in the REGION on VAT and you all still bitching and mourning? Please. We like too much damn freeness. Its time we start paying for the goods and services that we enjoy. I agree with the government NO MORE CONSULTATION ON VAT. Run with the implimentation; move full speed ahead. If you have to listen to the likes of Paula Calderon et al; we will NEVER introduce VAT.
Vat, Sen.Fletcher say, we need to vat money to provide service and run the government- vat is not an equitble tax.
Berthia say, they not ready, and tor operators will not pay vat. OK who owes the government 36 million in HAT,
Dennery North say, post pone like most of St.Lucians feel
Ezikel say, they afraid don't know what to expect.
You mean that's the upper chamber? Nothing SUBSTANTIAL, NOTHING EDUCATIONAL, and the VAT office people more confuse, trying to expand something they do not understand, and will not understand anytime soon.
Electing idiots, unsophisticated plantation descendants, drug barons, country bookies, US jail birds, and office messenger boys as MPs is coming home to roost. Jackass governments on parade.

just say no 2 vat then fat like a rat.
Vat coming just months before Christmas holiday isn't a good thing for Kenny. I think it is an ill avised move.
VAT will be the last stray to break the SLP.
VAT, Grynberg, NCA, ROCHEMAL, BLACKBAY LANDS PAYOUT is Kenny's legacy.
ADD THE PMA, SHOULD IT BE DELISTED.
BETTER DAYS
