it is def true that the labour party is taking credit for projects including road rehab..esp the dennery hospital amoung others.. but it is also true that the UWP did not accomplish much when it came to islandwide projects.. either... i give the labour party a grade= C...i am of the belief in the next budgetary yr... slp will do much better...their hands are tied as the slp gov said because many projects were already in the budgetary funding upon assuming the reigns of gov...

there are 2 projects i wanted 2 start b4 last yr elections they were NEW AIRPORT TERMINAL..the DAHER MALL rehab... i hope SLP sees fit to continue where UWP left off but with the daher mall they did the right thing in selling it... that building should cont as a mall in the near future..

this is exactly what i have been preaching against and what is destroying the country - politics. Does it matters that a former administration starts something and another finishes it?

it is the people who benefits and that is what we all should concentrate on. Saint Lucians for the good of ourselves and our children let us not get caught up in the quarrels of political parties and politicians. all they want is to get in power or stay in power they don't care about you or me.
it is good that projects are started and completed who conceptualise is of no consequence.

reality check: conceptualization does not mean anything if there is no will to bring the concept into fruition. the UWP may have conceptualize but the real question is whether they had the will and testicular fortitude to make the concept a reality is what we should be debating.

I officially want to give praise to the UWP for all the projects they conceptualized, started,completed, abandoned and left incomplete. I also want to give them credit for all the scandals they were involved in while in office including the tax evasion case just to name one. I will also give them credit for being more vocal in opposition than they ever were while in office.

As for the SLP, I give them credit for being just as terrible as the UWP. Same crap, different administration. While they quarrel about who should get credit, unemployment is creeping upward, crime is out of hand, VAT is upon us, and there is no end in sight. I bet no one wants to take credit for that!! Give me a break!

Hell! Do you expect that the SLP would NOT have had BOTH the intelligence and maturity to continue projects already started by the UWP, considered to be worthwhile?

Whoever completes the projects takes the credit, makes the speeches, cuts the ribbons and get their names on the plaques on the walls! Day ban couyons!

What a bunch of idiots we have as politicians and hangers-on from the UWP!

For Christ sakes! Grow the freaking hell up! Idiots!

UWPees, when you find a proper leader, and organize a worthwhile party, then, you will have the gonads to talk...until then, stay in the wilderness (hopefully, for years to come).

Why, isn't SLP in power now. Are they not the ones to take the praises on completed projects, whether it was started by Belzebub, or Mephistopheles. GROW UP (if you can) and stop crying and bitching like a freaking child over a lollipop!!
