VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis lamented that a "gay lobby" was at work at the Vatican in private remarks to the leadership of a key Latin American church group -- a stunning acknowledgment that appears to confirm earlier reports about corruption and dysfunction in the Holy See.

The Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious -- the regional organization for priests and nuns of religious orders -- confirmed Tuesday that its leaders had written a synthesis of Francis' remarks after their June 6 audience.

The group, known by its Spanish acronym CLAR, said it was greatly distressed that the document had been published and apologized to the pope.

It seems that all sorts of biological mutations that affect human and even animal behaviour are occurring, and those who are not lucky to be 100% man or woman due to bilogical malfunctions are treated as outcasts or abnormal. Yes, of course they are abnormal, and who is to blame. I don't think the creator would deliberately create such people. Let us stop the hipocracy and admit that these people or even the straight ones are not created by God; perhaps the first man was, but even this biblical history is not supported by scientific backing.
It is time we face the fact that all sorts of environmental and dietal factors are manifesting themselves in deformities in both human genetic and physical form, which perhaps God himself have no contol over. Just yesterday on Utube I came across a child who was born with features of a mermaid. When she reaches marital age what choices will she make. Will she marry another mermaid or a normal human?

As this world evolves humanity will be faced with profound issues for which no immediate answers will be found. It is for all and sundry to take an objective view of realities and come up with workable solutions that will not create animosity or division among the social strata, and accept that differences in biology are not the fault of the abnormal ones but perhaps the fault of their own parents who created them, by virtue of poor diet, alcohol consumption, etc.

The biological aspect of this subject has always concerned and troubled me. I am trying to give this Homosexuality an objective consideration as a Muslim. If an individual is sick mentally/insane/ retarded in his mental development, such a person is not considered liable for his criminal actions including murder.

If such a person murders someone he would be confined to an hospital for the insane where he would be treated as a patient, and treated with the appropriate medication. So we can make accommodations for murder; the question here is can we make an appropriate accommodations for homosexuality?

Is homosexuality a mental or physical malady? There are people who are born with duel gender identified as “Hermaphrodite”. Can such a person be a Lesbian or Homosexual? What about an individual with biological imbalances in the testosterone hormone? Such as when a man displayes characteristic associated with the female - like voice, and movement, or a woman behaves like a man? Does such persons' abnormalities be a reason to be sentenced to death?

However for a biologically “normal” man, like Priest, to sleep with another man? That I think is an abomination, except for the question of his sanity? I know people who think that dead people speak to them, and those in the grave have the power to cure cancer, so what happens if a man “THINKS” he's a woman? Wellness Center or Death penalty?
