This entire piece is garbage; come on Jeff, cut the crap.
The author of the article is no fool and must know that his conclusion that only the UWP can save us based on its history is crooked thinking. The UWP today is not a shadow of the political party which it was under the leadership of John Compton, who was extraordinary and suited for his time. We now need to move on with the changing times , setting aside personal vendettas, and seeing things for what they are. I am not satisfied that the author has done this and has reached a point where his submissions are discarded as having no real value.; which is unfortunate..
All political parties and aspirants have a duty to ensure that they are relevant if they seriously wish to serve the Country and not their egos/ pockets.

On what basis does the hirearchy of the SLP formulate policy?
What is their agenda?
Since May 1997 it is obvious that what drives their action is their own power and wealth. Nothing matters but their salaries , their perks and opportunities to obtain financing to maintain their power base.
Yet we waste time debating these policies and action based on the fairy tale belief that they have any intention of solving problems! What gullible fools we are !
☆Since 1997 we have accumulated almost 2 billion dollars in debt.
☆We have increased poverty and unemployment.
☆We have an increasingly ignorant, ill equipped and drugged population with 30% of our people smoking marijuana with a recent ground breaking study showing that it kills brain power, causes cancer and psychological issues.
☆Our societal fabric is being ripped apart by vulgar politically correct mores.
So do not expect anything to change shortly but to get worst in the next decade.

We all know that the recession did damage and lots of people all over the world are feeling the squeez
What we need to do is become more self reliant support our farmers and what they produce
Support our butchers also.
Our government must invest money into new foreign upcoming markets
Like for instance England invested one billion pounds in India and that has help her to come out of the recession
What our government need to do is invest monies into overseas markets
And doctor kenny anthony is a brave man he Will know what to do and how to move this country forward.
