I am stunned as a UWP to understanding how, on what premise, precept, guidelines, qualification, advise, , ETC is Asphalt and Mining out- classing the 3rd largest construction company in Canada (who owns a large hotel property in St.Lucia ) on every aspect of this project.

This construction company in Canada is world renowned, St.Lucia is no execution, with vast experience in airport development, financing you name it, yet after 2 attempts to reopen and reconfigure this development project Asphalt and Mining has an enormous advantage.

Something is funny here----we’re no fools…ooooH not to mention the financing would be coming for up north without burdening the nation dept…. That did not make a difference..

I cannot tell how is advising who..Guy or Stephen,, no difference.

We may need another 40 star hotel.

The SLASPA news conference: Most interesting is what was not express, how did asphalt and mining role change from a tendering like all other construction company’s to being part of a consortium advising government. No wonder, other viable and more reputable companies cannot put in a decent bid.

The issue is about public disclosure and financial accountability of Statutory organizations, Crown Corporations or Development foundations embedded in state-run and control initiatives.

What were the terms of reference for this project?

What process and procedure were used and by whom?

What is the term/scope of service by the consortium?

Who were the other tenders?

How did A&M out bid the 3rd largest construction company of Canadian?

OHHHH

Anonymous, you better keep being anonymous. Don't even let your wife know you are the one, for fear your identity leaks out. How can you openly mention a man's man saying he has a large bank account in the U.S.? Garcon you walking a thin line there. I knew of a certain bank account in Miami a few years ago, of which deceased Mr. Skeete was the main signitory, but at that time the man was alive, so I dare not mention his name. You should think the same way. Believe me, you must be careful in these matters.

Sir/madame one mr Skeete was not a public figure, he was not elected by the people of St Lucia, he was not handling our tax dollars, so we have no right to even talk about him. Guy Joseph is different, he has to be accounted to us the people of St Lucia, he was elected by us. Mr Chou gave all these uwps one million dollars. Guy Joseph never gave us an account of that money, so he has that money somewhere.

People you have to be careful what you'll say. Just look at how many lawsuits the Prime Minister of ST. Vincent and The Grenadines has won, for people saying things without any facts.

Guy Joseph has once again proven what a liability he is to the Govrnment. Remember his off-key statements? Remember the botched WASCO privatisation where one of the bidding companies threatened litigation? So who's going to take the fall for this mess Mr. King? Guess what Saint Lucia - no one!The current UWP ministry has once again proven how corrupt and absolutely incompetent they are.
Compton should have known you can't just place a man in Transport portfolio just because he owns some buses. Sigh, Such a national travesty. Thes guys are now bold face about their conmes. No matter how much spin Press Secretary Le Bourne does on this one will not hide the stench of this dou dou.

Might I add that I feel sorry that the SLASPA General Manager, Mr. Matthews, has had to have been involved in this mess with his picture being banded about. He is being used by the Government to bolster the twig dam that's holding back the flood. It really is a photo of the ilusive Prime Minister that we should be seeing. His backseat driving, dogdging of questions, deceit and disappearing acts sicken me.
