I am so happy to hear that Justice Smith has been discharged and appears to be recovering nicely by the grace of God. I would like to wish her a speedy recovery. I hope that she will return to the bench ASAP and keep up the good work. I also hope that she will chalk all this up as experience which will strenghten her resolve against these criminals who seem to have a stangle hold on our country.

And, I hoped too, that every case she has ever presided over in St Lucia, the names of those would be perused...for criminal act. Interrogate them all.

God's blessing and speedy recovery.

Martinus Francois ought to be ashamed of himself concerning the remarks he made on the shooting of Justice Simith. The Bar Association should strongly distance itself from Mr. Francois's remarks.
Here is some advice for you Mr. Francois from Abe Lincoln "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

Am a daily reader of Caribbean media houses in the Countries of Jamaica, Cayman & St. Lucia. and i must say Cayman & St. Lucia really needs to take their country back. Crime will kill your Island.
Lucian's are patriots of their Island, no matter what a Lucian do they never deny them. dey would say "ah dat my people dem". but where is the pride and unity to stand together to save St. Lucia against Crime? where are the Church's with all this? the Government is just a small body of Lucians.
When the criminals can boldly attempt the life of the persons YOU as nation relay on to uphold the law, you know "your Country" is in trouble. Get well soon Justice Smith.

Thank god that Justice Smith is recovering nicely. No doubt this has strengthened her resolve and I have no doubt she will return to the bench with a renewed spirit to continue her good work. Ms Smith thats how cowards operate; they instill fear and try to intimidate. You were trained well and know that what happened to you would have been tried by some criminal some day. Be strong Justice, keep the faith and remember we all love you!!!
