This is the thin edge of the wedge, what next how can people think this behaviour is ok, I understand the woman is very hard on offenders, as long as that person is proved to be the person who committed the crime then she is to be commended. I hope she isn't intimidated by this callous act.

This is absolutely shocking and ridiculou!! First regular citizens, and now, brazenly enough, un-corrupt members of the judiciary.

St Lucia is only about 170,000. I sincerely hoped whoever did this, and previous crimes, shall be brought to face their crimes.

This island, no doubt, is a lawless state.

May God bless this magistrate with speedy recovery to continue doing a good job - by sending those slimeballs where they belong - BEHIND BARS!!

Guys, I don't know about you but I'm not voting UWP in the next election.

Guy Mayers came on the news saying we have to take our security to a different level. He obviously meant that we have to put more of our meagre resources towards security and go the way of Jamaica and their debt-burdened society - large portions of the economic wealth in Jamaica has to go towards security measures.

We aren't tackling the root of the problem.

A population that is disciplined, shows respect and pride in their sons and daughters in uniform is lacking.

Disciplined people police themselves and negate the need for a large police presence. We need to take the Cadet Corp to all secondary schools to foster discipline and educate the children so they can take this same messge home to their parents. Once the citizens recognize the vital service the police perform, watch as the crime rate plummets.

(1)I hope magistrates will use the law of poss. of firearm act $15 000.00 or 7 years imprisonment. They are too lenient.

(2) What is MARTINUS FRANCOIS and MARY FRANCIS saying?
The two of them are criminal supporters.

I also heard that she sent a guy to jail and his lawyer didn't show-up, he had no defence, if that's true then she was unjust.

What do you mean? How is she unjust for helping to move along the backlog of cases in the courts?

Justice delayed is justice denied.

So the same people who were asking for the British policemen to leave St. Lucia so that they own candidate could become the Commissioner are now blaming the UWP for getting rid of the British policemen.

What a twisted people we have become. We will support any incompetence or position as long as there is something in it for us.

The writing is on the wall. If this was any other country Ausbert Regis's head would roll. It is time for a serious change within the ranks of the RSLPF. The criminals know that they will get away with committing these callous acts. It is my prayer that Justice Smith hangs in there and continues to do the good job that the criminals obiviously do not like.

This goes again to decision making process strong will and conviction, i have no idea why cabinet ask for advice and fail to act.... the commissioner should have been transferred or fired from 2007/8...he is just marking time waiting for election to run in the Dennery valley.

There are superb ranking offices that are currently on 12 mths vacation who can replace and transform the force, with help of private enterprise.

I don’t know why this government cannot make decisions, good lord help us!!
